Date of Visit: 11/08/2025 5:30pm…read more After some shopping at the mall the wife and I were wanting to grab a beer somewhere. As we were heading out the parking I mentioned CJ's across the street. We have never been there before but friends of ours do play there once in while. So that's where we headed. As others have stated there is plenty of parking, in the main lot and in back. We parked in the main lot. Walked inside an immediately notice this was a place for music. No bands were playing since it was early. Found a spot at the bar, may have been ten others sitting at the bar. There was only one bar tender working the bar and she was working it. She came and saw us right after sitting and got our drink orders. Not sure if we wanted to eat but we still looked over the menu. We decided to get some food. I noticed they do a smashburger and I am always up for a that. The wife has been watching what she eats and decided on the chicken strips. The food didn't take long to arrive and both looked very good. My burger was done right, double cheesesmash with LTO just the way I like it. I got fries with it as well and I must say these were some mighty good fries. My wife really liked her chicken strips too. They were not battered and not overly fried, still very moist on the inside. She has been trying to stay away from overly fried foods and these were not overly done. I believe she ate them all as well. Since it was early there were no seating issues like I have read from others. And if your a car person they do a last Sunday of the month breakfast buffet and car show in the morning. Looking forward to that. All I can say is give this place a try. May have to go in the evening and listen to some live music. Peace.

Arrived here for the Artikal Sound System/Sitting on Saturn/Bikini Trill concert in early November…read moreon a Friday night. The area was popping so I followed some people wearing the band shirts before finding myself at the entrance. Jannus Live is probably the most popular outdoor music venue in the St. Pete area. The venue can hold a nice crowd and the staff from the bartenders to the security people to the maintenance crew are friendly. Sound quality is awesome as everything was loud and clear allowing for the crowd to be engaged. Only things that detract from the experience is the pricy drinks (although that's everywhere in general) and that smoking is permitted being an outdoor venue. Some people were smoking during the show getting cigarette smoke in my face. Also some fans apparently don't like when you're taking videos/photos of the performance. Some older guy came behind me and asked me to not take a video cause of the flashing light. While I try to be considerate of others, it's a freaking concert and I want to capture the artist so he can go pound sand and kick rocks. If people could tone down the cigarette smoking and stop being so damn sensitive of phones capturing things, the concert experiences would be prestine here.

Jannus live is a great place to see a concert. There are a few drawbacks no seating unless you get…read moreVIP limited food pizza ,drinks maybe a couple other options. Make sure you have plenty of rest before you go because you will be standing up close and personal with the bands.

Big stage, big courtyard and killer bands. Outdoors! Loud! Food! Multiple Bars! It's cash only inside, but there is an atm! I hope this place stays around for a while! This is the WORST venue ever!!! We purchased VIP concert tickets believing their advertised…read moregarbage. This was the biggest scam ever. First off they turned their parking lot into the concert area. This left no parking for the event. We asked if there was a VIP parking area, there was not. We asked if they had a lot that they were using for parking for the event, they did not. Their response was "you have to drive around until you find a spot to park since we used our lot for the concert" ok well, St Pete already sucks for parking so that made it virtually impossible to find parking. We drove around an hour just to finally park about a mile away and walk to the concert. Then the VIP area in the front of the stage was not exclusive to just those with VIP tickets. They let anyone walk up there. The VIP bar was cash only and the supposed VIP balcony with air conditioned bar & bathrooms was exclusively for those that were with the bands! This is a clear false advertisement! The food was nasty & drinks were way overpriced. The drinks actually weren't that bad but they weren't worth $12 each! Fergs should stick to being a sports bar. This whole trying to add all this extra stuff is going to land them exactly where their Tampa store ended up.... closed for good!

Wow. I expected more from a place rated 4 stars. To be…read morespecific we went to the beach bar because the restaurant wasn't open yet. The very first issue was parking. Parking is minimum $50 a day + fees. A cocktail? For an hour? Haha no. I'm being mildly disingenuous. The bar staff (and likely restaurant staff) will give you a QR code to validate all $58 of your parking. But it made me acutely miss a time when you could just park and patronize an establishment. Just don't forget to validate your parking, cuz they sure didn't ask preemptively. They were celebrating a 3-day grand reopening when we went on Saturday. There was *one* artisan in their market space. The music was pumping loud enough to not be able to converse. Although it drew a crowd of younger folks, there was not much to behold from the "grand" reopening. Not even s cost of paint. The beach bar may not have been part of the sprucing up idk, I didn't see anything worth celebrating. I meant to look at the size of the cocktail cup that we got (small), but $13-14 for a cocktail is highway robbery for the end result. And $18 for 6 wings ($3 a wing) was a little disappointing. I expected better of a Hilton adjoined restaurant. No one part was terrible. It was just the way they matched up - loud, expensive, small portions. If you're loud maybe you're cheap and tasty. If you're expensive, maybe you're fast and delicious. This was all the worst parts of a bar that doesn't care about its patrons' economics. A bar that wants to serve tourists with mediocrity and move on to the next crop of people who will never be there again. If you're a tourist it'll probably be fine, if overpriced. If you're a local, don't bother. To be fair, we should ask if there was anything good. hm ... no. We won't be returning. 3 stars is probably generous.

Ooh-La-La! SOLID 5 STARS!…read more $5 house wine 4-6pm. Great eclectic Menu. Fancy service and a chef who knows his ingredients. You can't miss at LaLa. Started with Cabernet Sauvignon ($5). Then Charred Octopus Appetizer ($19). Then a superb Truffle Aioli Burger with Caesar Salad ($19). Finished with Crispy Brussels Sprouts ($9). Wing Man Gary (UASF Pilot, Retired) had the Grouper Sandwich ($16). I asked for my burger to be "So rare a good vet could save it." And that's exactly what I got. There was a large toothpick speared through the burger to prevent it from escaping. The flavors and textures were a real treat. Superb! Great meal for $90 including tip. Highly recommended. The food was solid overall, and the duck linguine was absolutely delicious--it's a unique pasta dish that really stood out from the usual options. I was also pleasantly surprised by how strong the kids' menu was, which made dining with a little guy much easier. The only downsides were that the drinks felt a bit pricey for what they were, and while the filet wasn't bad, it was the most disappointing dish of the meal and didn't quite live up to expectations.
