This movie theater is located inside the countryside mall on the 2nd level, just make sure you park on the correct side of the mall, so you are able to save walking distance, IF you are just trying to catch a flick. Concessions are your typical concession prices, spirits are pricey, but it makes for a great experience. They have reclining chairs, with swivel tables to put your drinks, or snacks on, with PLENTY of space. We checked in online so there really isn't much interaction with staff, besides getting your ticket printed, concessions, then ticket verification. Movie theater is clean, well ventilated and sound and the lighting is nice and it isn't crowed for a 8:20pm show on a Sunday. All-In-All I prefer the movie theater by my home, but if I have to venture out for a particular movie, I will definitely come back here.

In the past year we have not encountered any problems (seating, noise, unruly patrons). We have made memories after seeing movies on the BIG screen in a comfortable location. Can't comment on the food as we haven't had any concessions since we've had to cut out popcorn & soda from our diet due to health problems. We eat before we come, or after. Popcorn DOES smell delicious and the soda dispenser is convenient.

The songs were joyous and entertaining. The show was interactive and so much fun! The seats were also very comfortable. All of the cast/crew are volunteers and you can tell they love what they do. I will definitely be back for another show here! All of the cast was wonderful, but my favorite "volunteer" there was Sparks, the sweet Dalmation pup, whose dad runs the lights.

It was incredible, well performed, had great set design,...and was soooo interactive. These thespians, certainly are "professionals". This time the audience solved the mystery of the piece. Dickens died before finishing it , so of course, "who done it" was unknown. We were given clues along the way...and voted during the final act...then the players acted out "our" ending. For those who don't know, the theater celebrated its 100th anniversary this year and appears to be thriving. However, it does not live on without the support of you...me... and the rest of the community. So check out their upcoming performances, and look into next season... "See you at the play!" "!

The theater seats about a 100 very comfortably. The seats are well padded and spacious. The lighting and acoustics are both very passable. The sound system lacks a bit. Parking is great with plenty of overflow and the location is very easy to get to by foot or car. The refreshments during intermission could be a little better (like better beer) but the prices are reasonable. The space in the lobby and outside are very pleasant and a nice place to stretch the ol' getaway sticks. Overall, it is a nice facility for the smaller community in Gulfport and fits well with the general character of its surroundings.

They get singers that don't just have good voices, they are excellent and expressive musicians, and the icing on the cake they were good actors. That rarely happens in opera, even at exalted venues like The Met in NYC (where I lived for 45 years). I saw La Boheme and the cast was very good at the comic parts as well as the very emotional dramatic parts. Again, you don't see that often. So bravissimi to the cast, conductor and director, and to the very fine little orchestra they have. Again, top notch, excellent musicians. There were two intermissions, and they have packaged snacks like chips or cookies, and a variety of drinks on offer: prosecco (my fave for a Sunday afternoon show) to red or white wine, soft drinks, bottled water. The service is quick so the long lines for the concession stands go very quickly. I enjoyed myself so much!! Definitely getting a season ticket again next year. Performances will be in the company's rehearsal space next year while The Palladium Theatre gets renovated. (Yay for them!). It could be really cool to experience the operas in a close-up venue like that, kind of like theater in the round where the cast is surrounded by their audience, not just having an audience on one side of a proscenium stage. I'm really excited to experience that! Maybe that'll become the new way to experience operas!

We got to the box office early and had a cup of tea and drink at Steep Station, which is really nice. The area is worth a walk which we did. When we leisurely walked toward the 'opera house' my heart sunk: there isn't anyone around. ... Quickly, we rushed to the Palladium Theater ... and the on site parking is full -:((( L'italiana in Algeri - The Italian Girl in Algiers in two acts by Gioachino Rossini was premiered at the Teatro San Benedetto in Venice on 22 May 1813. The story is nice, singers are decent and the stage site is high school. The elevator at the venue is 100 years old and needs extra force to make it work, and sometimes it just won't. Interestingly, I ran into a volunteers days later at Tiki Dock and Micky told me she was asked to man the elevator that day but opted out: "I can't stand that thing." -:)

The volunteers were knowledgeable and appeared to truly enjoy sharing their knowledge of Greek Culture& History with us.

Lots of crafts, music, & food. Husband got the Souvlaki Platter $14 (Marinated Pork & Chicken skewers) with a side of Greek Style Potatoes, Greek Style Green Beans, & a roll. He also ordered Keftedes $6 (5 Greek Meatballs) with tzatziki. He found it delicious and flavorful. The potatoes were seasoned with tender onions and garlic cloves. The green beans were seasoned with onions and tomatoes. I ordered the Pastitsio Platter $16 (Greek Lasagna made with large tube style pasta, ground beef, and bechamel sauce) with a side of Greek Style Green Beans, a side Greek salad, & a roll. I also got the Spanakopita $4 (Spinach & Feta Cheese Pie wedge) and 5 Dolades $5 (Rice stuffed grape leaves). Everything was delicious and the seasoning was spot on. For dessert we took home an order of 6 Bakalava $15 (Rich layers of phyllo filled with cinnamon, walnuts & honey), 1 Chocolate Baklava $3, 1 Napoleon $5 (Flaky phyllo layered with vanilla cream swirled with a bit of chocolate on top), 1 Chocolate Kok $5 (Greek Chocolate Crème Puff), and 2 Kourambiedes $1 each (A shortbread type of Greek Christmas Cookies).
