I ended up going that following Sunday, and I loved it. My family and I have been both attending and volunteering there ever since. I recommend everyone attend at least to Sunday's in a row, you probably will like it!

It's becoming clear that this church is more focused on celebrating secular seasons than honoring…read moreChrist. We see rabbits and costumes on Easter, pumpkins and Halloween treats in October, giant turkeys for Thanksgiving, and Santa, Christmas trees, and every holiday theme imaginable during Christmas -- yet barely any mention of Jesus, His teachings, or why these days matter in the first place. I'm not the only one who feels this way. Many have shared the same concerns. On top of that, the pastor often appears on stage wearing high-end designer clothing, and it seems like he's away traveling every other week. His biggest influence appears to be Joel Osteen -- and a lot of us know the controversies and concerns surrounding Osteen's ministry. All I'm saying is this: be careful, stay alert, and keep your faith centered on Jesus, not on trends, personalities, or theatrics.

I've been to many churches throughout my life, but this church lives and breathes the Word of God no fluff, no watered-down messages, no performance. Just truth. Just Scripture. Just the power of the Holy Spirit moving. Myself and my family didn't just attend here we were transformed here. We got saved here. We were restored here. The teaching under these amazing pastors is bold, biblical, and led by the Spirit. They don't preach opinions they preach the Word. If you're hungry for real discipleship, real fellowship, and real encounter with God, this is the place. This is more than a building it's a family. Forever grateful for what God is doing in this house.

The Kids ministry is age specific and the staff members and counselors are amazing. We have found the Lead Pastor Darrell Owens to be very knowledgeable and direct in his real; life teachings. We just enjoy it and we always leave better than when we came.

Dear Christ, the rock community Church. I wanna start off to say that I have been a member since…read moreyou guys were in Flanagan high school. I've seen you guys change in pastors. I seen change in people coming and going. so I've been there quite a while. I have been faithful. My family has been faithful. It truly saddens me that in the time of need, as a church member and losing my 91-year-old grandmother, who also was a member of your church, passed away and when I reached out for help the attitude, the silence the no nonchalant response that was given was uncalled for we are faithful members to the church. we help support the church and we needed help from the church. In this time of need and grief the fact that the pastor could not do the funeral in the church or at least send a pastor to where we will have the service instead could've been an option, but was not even offered as one we strictly got a no! The excuse of that was, because of kids camp going on. I understand it is important. I have been part of the kids club. But in a time of need, it should be where your church helps. Your church stands by you in this time, they did this to my mother's funeral couple of years ago because they needed to prepare for their Halloween night. Trust me I get it. These are important events. Absolutely you want to put a show on and bring people in. Definitely understand that but as a member for many years needing help two times from grief and loss and losing people it's a shame that nobody stepped up or nobody could help at a funeral service of a member or for a member of the church. ever
