This was a complete waste of time. The dining room set we want to donate is in good shape, but your drivers wouldn't even take the China Cabinet that is in perfect shape because of a couple of minor stains on 2 of the chairs. This is high quality, solid wood furniture that some poor family somewhere could have used.

Was $2,550, your today for $428.

Not worth the trip. No fitting room and may not use the restroom. Prices "meh". Mostly furniture

I've been browsing there for 20 years. It's very expensive. I went in today there was a partial bedroom set for $3000. Not good business.

There wasn't a lot of selection in the mens department when it came to clothes. The prices were decent but nothing like goodwill prices. I don't know if I'd return but I still wishing Second Chance Theift Shop continued success.

For example, I look at dvds, books, and cds, which are plentiful but often in need of straightening up. I bought several cds today ($1.00 each). The dvds were also $1.00 each, which is a very fair price. They have a nice jewelry counter, some glass cases with more expensive items, some clothing (mostly women's), records, some comic books, prints and paintings, some toys (not many), and knicknacks. I go there a few times a year, and I have always found the owner and her employees to be very nice, friendly, and supportive. The only negative thing I can say is that some of the items there are way overpriced. For example, I looked at a paperback of For Better or For Worse comics. The price was $5.00. It should have been no more than $2.00 tops. I didn't buy it since I didn't really need it, and the price was offputting. I also think the clothing is higher priced than it often should be. So, I do recommend this store, but you must have patience and time!
