A Typical Thrift shop except much larger. Lots of variety! Old school clothing, shoes, and electronics.

For years I've been donating here, not realizing that it's a for-profit enterprise. I'll continue to shop, but I'll never donate again!

There wasn't a lot of selection in the mens department when it came to clothes. The prices were decent but nothing like goodwill prices. For example, I look at dvds, books, and cds, which are plentiful but often in need of straightening up. I bought several cds today ($1.00 each). The dvds were also $1.00 each, which is a very fair price. They have a nice jewelry counter, some glass cases with more expensive items, some clothing (mostly women's), records, some comic books, prints and paintings, some toys (not many), and knicknacks. I go there a few times a year, and I have always found the owner and her employees to be very nice, friendly, and supportive. The only negative thing I can say is that some of the items there are way overpriced. For example, I looked at a paperback of For Better or For Worse comics. The price was $5.00. It should have been no more than $2.00 tops. I didn't buy it since I didn't really need it, and the price was offputting. I also think the clothing is higher priced than it often should be. So, I do recommend this store, but you must have patience and time!

Best thing to do is come at opening, that's when all the best stuff will be laid out. They do continuously restock through the day, but I've found the best to be right when the store opens. Can be hit or miss when you go, there are some days I've left with tons of stuff and some days I leave with nothing, but I've definitely found some great vintage pieces, including: an Italian acrylic on canvas painting signed by the artist for $30, studio pottery, carved wood pieces, a set of beautiful, numbered porcelain plates and bowls by Haviland. I was gobsmacked one day when I saw an Aloha beach bag I always wanted, with tags still on, that someone donated! On the topic of donating, this place is amazing. I can't tell you how many things I've donated to this store. I'm glad my things are finding new homes for people to continue to enjoy. Every time I come here, I bring a giant bag of donations: books, clothes, kitchen ware, decor, art, etc. It takes patience to look through everything because yes, there's a lot of crap put on the shelves: stuff from Dollar Tree, Five Below, etc., stuff that's broken that shouldn't have even been put out in the first place. But it's not uncommon to find a great furniture piece for cheap. This location also has the best books and DVD assortment of the locations I've been to. I've found special editions, author signed books, and specialty Book of the Month titles. 50% off everything sales are great and color of the day is also worth spending some time browsing, I've gotten dresses for $2-$4 bucks.

While some things were reasonably priced, other items were laughably priced. For example, an average quality small living room arm chair with slightly faded and slightly dirty fabric was $167.00. You can buy a similar arm chair in Bob's brand new and fresh smelling for $199.00 All in all, if you're in the area it's worth visiting since donations come in every week and you never know what you might find.
