St. Vincent DePaul Plymouth Wi store is amazing! The workers are very helpful! You never know what you will find.

Today, I got my son a mattress and box spring at furniture store in Plymouth, Wisconsin. They were out of metal frames. Our sales person suggested we try the thrift store in the same strip mall. I found a twin/full metal frame that I wanted to buy. They were on the sales floor in a 55 gallon barrel with the top cut off. Before I could reach for it, I was told that I can't just free roam the furniture area. I saw other people (woman) looking, so I asked the woman why. She told me that fear people will switch tags. I informed her that I want to buy a twin/full metal bed frame. All the metal bed frames of that style were marked $25.00. In an effort to nice about it, I asked if she could call up the register. Then inform they it was $25. She wouldn't do that. I had to wait for a male employee to show up. He showed up 20 mins later. She watched me the entire top we waited. When he arrived, I told him I wanted to buy a twin/full bed frame. He looked at me funny. I was questioned as why I pick up it up, and take it to the register. My son pointed at the woman, and she unleashed hell on my 9 year old son. She used curse words and called us "tag switchers". In an effort to defend my son, I informed her all the ones of that style were $25. I suggested that cashiers knew they were all $25, and the woman unleashed hell on me. In an effort to avoid any further issue, I asked the male to walk us to the door of the store. I didn't want to give the woman the opportunity to say we stole something. As we walked to the door, the woman screamed at us at top of her lungs. When I saw the frames were $25, I was happy. The furniture store wanted $79.99. I would have gladly paid $25 for one. This woman thought I guilty of trying to switch tags, so I was automatically guilty. Not all white men are bad. Please, stop judging us! read more

I think the vast majority of stuff is priced according, considering that this is a community thrift store. However, when considering prices as a whole I think they are missing the mark on putting patrons before profits. I recently moved to Sheboygan with slim to nothing, so for two weeks was stopping by nearly every other day. After times passed I recognized people. I cant read the volunteers minds, but there were more than one that I greeted with a smile, and got nasty looks in return. I was confused, and felt like they didn't want me there? A few items were definitely not needs, but wants, and they will stay there because I was able to find the same pieces for less on eBay... I disagree with their business model, it's conflicting with their mission. Do they want some people supporting their store or someone's online store. read more

So sad to find out today they now have an EBay store they sell on. This means all the nicer items never make it to the floor and get listed on their eBay store. Most likely will not go here again. Sell to your local patrons. read more

This is such a great organization! They have a huge selection and great deals. It's nice to buy for somewhere when you know the money is going to a great cause. Best to stop by every week because the best items don't last long and new stuff is added every day. read more

I really love this place! I think the prices are fine and plus you can get 50% off or sometimes 75% off items that are ticketed in a certain color. I enjoy the spaciousness of the store, and yet it's filled with stuff! I enjoy the jewelry, purse, shoe, bra, and clothes section, because they are organized nicely. They were a lifesaver when I need something last minute so I donate my nicest items here, and my grandma collectibles. Plus I know that the items will have a better chance at being displayed and priced accurately here than anywhere else I donate them. :) read more

They charge retail. :( I wonder if this organization considers that some folks aren't collectors? It's so disappointing. Not really a good thrift if you're looking for a fair deal. read more
