Coach Kim was incredibly welcoming and everyone was super friendly. No doubt these are some great people! The workout was no joke!! They post them on the web which I love, because I can plan my week when I fly from city to city for work. I've watched this gym for a few years but never was able to catch a class due to working nights (FedEx pilot). They have added tons of new equipment over the last few years and have a great facility (even showers if you have to rush back to work). Everyone here worked their tail off, loved the energy and coaching. Keep it up! I've been coming here since June 2006. You are considered a part of the family here. There are a couple people that think so much of this gym and the owners they will come in just to say hi, someone may may bring in tomatoes from their garden, heck a few, myself included, stop by and do a load of towels. This the kind of gym/club family you've been looking for. No high pressure up-selling. No waiting for equipment to be free as it's a private club that only takes a certain amount of members. Everyone of the trainers, the physical therapist, spin instructor, yoga instructor are all top shelf certified and hold degrees in their fields. I could go on but I gotta get to the gym.

I have done the CrossFit classes, FLEX class (combination of condition, weightlifting and accessory work), Olympic weight lifting class and yoga classes. My 9 year old is also enrolled in the CrossFit kids class. As a newbie to CrossFit, I love this place. The intimidation was initially there but it was really self vs self. Everyone is so welcoming and very helpful. No judgment at all. From day 1, I have been welcomed with open arms. There are a lot of coaches and they all have the heart of a teacher. Prior to this, I spent 7 months with a personal trainer who was very popular on social media. However, I have learned way more in 4 months at Takeover than I did in 7 months with a PT. I am also in the best shape strength and conditioning wise. I'm still a beginner but every class I get better and I love it. I can not say one bad thing about this establishment. We were immediately welcomed and walked out to the gym floor. The trainer was awesome and had an amazing personality. She was hilarious to say the least. The WOD was an EMOM x 2 w/ Snatches and OH Squats then Burpees. Check them out!
