I think people putting a 1- star review on every single social media platform should be a tad more lenient, but that's just me. It's not like the teachers sit around and do nothing all day. Anyhow, my daughter has learned SO much since going here, and has improved on so many different levels- especially regarding listening, spelling, and reading. I had no idea what to expect when I first walked in, my wife and daughter have been to parties hosted here but I was clueless. The first thing I noticed was how outgoing and friendly the the host was, there were a total of 2 employees but one was obviously the primary and her name was Jamie. Once they entered the gym Jamie gathered all the girls around in a circle and started some stretching exercises while explaining what they were going to do and all the rules about safety, sharing, etc. Jamie was very good at getting the girls listen to her while making them laugh and feel right at home. She also made sure everyone knew why they where there and really made my daughter feel special. The girls did a few minutes of warm up then proceeded to spend an equal amount of time at several different stations with various activities. The girls had an absolute blast going from the trampolines, to the uneven bars, to swinging from a bar like tarzan and dropping into a giant pit filled with foam. There was so much to do that not one girl even thought about being bored. While the girls really had fun, the one person who was responsible for the party being so successful was the host Jamie, she was so energetic, outgoing, funny and caring that she made the whole thing a complete success. If you are thinking of having a birthday party but are wondering what to do, try Olympiad and make sure to ask for Jamie.

It was fantastic seeing the kids have so much fun, burn some energy, and learn a few new tricks and skills. Mr & Mrs Howard and the instructors did a tremendous job and I am so happy/pleased the party went off without a hitch. I absolutely love this Taekwondo studio and how the owners are not only attentive/patient with the kids but want to take a moment to rave how this studio has built such a great thing for our community, the kids have a fun/safe space to learn new things, grow, and the families are super helpful and supportive of each other. He loves the program as well as my husband and I do too. The whole team is awesome. Mrs. Howard is very detailed and great at communicating everything to us about the program and upcoming schedule. Mr. Howard is an awesome teacher. He is so patient (more than I would ever be teaching kids) and knowledgeable of Martial Arts and training. His crew is also top notch. Mr. Ali and Mr. Bucholtz have been with the program since my son has started (1 1/2 years ago) and very dedicated to the classes they teach. We will be continuing on the off season of dance. The girls had a lot of fun the teachers were very patient, motivational to the kids, helped them in numerous ways and really tried to help them feel good as well as safe. We were looking forward to at least hearing their stance on the issue and trying to come to a resolution. Instead, we were contacted by someone completely unrelated to the O'fallon location and they asked for clarification regarding this review. It was then decided we would have a meeting with that person because Gina was still ill. Long story short, our son is no longer enrolled at Kiddie Academy because of the unprofessionalism shown by Chassidy and Lindsey (director and assistant director) and their inability to supervise or even communicate with parents regarding their children. After we requested a refund for the month of November we started getting the run around, even though our son never attended a single day in November. They kept saying they "abide by the state minimum" and I don't know about everyone else here but but when it comes to my children and especially for what they charge I don't expect the minimum anything. If you truly love your children I urge you to think twice before enrolling in Kiddie Academy. Original Review: My youngest son has been attending Kiddie Academy O'fallon for a while now. Today marks the 3rd time in less than 2 months he's gotten bit while in their care. The school refuses to address the problems or give us an action plan as to what is being done about it. When brought to the schools attention their resolution was "well you can always pull your child from the school" Beware: if you don't want your children being bit find somewhere else to send them.

Party room is solid and functions well for the needs, but it's the kids climbing area that is of value. Over 10 separate walls of varying detail, obstacle climbing spots, plenty of automatic repel machines, counter walls, and even interactive obstacles like build your own block walls. Only drawback is ventilation within that children's climb area as it gets hot quick and even if they bring in a box fan, it doesn't circulate the whole room which is what's needed. The main climb area is well cooled and ventilated so I really don't understand why that one specific area is so bad.

It's located in a large strip mall which also has a Goodwill thrift store on the other side. Very little top rope climbing (just one wall). I believe the Maryland Heights location is supposed to have more top roping but we didn't go there. Day passes were kind of a teeny more expensive than I was hoping ($20) but if you can return again at all the memberships and class packs sound like a good deal. They also were running Black Friday sales for the weekend and those seemed good too but we couldn't really be around to take advantage of those. We were there Sunday early afternoon and there was no one else there. People started trickling in around 3pm and by 5pm there was a healthy crowd there, but still pretty easy to get on a wall with almost no wait. The kids seemed to be having a great time in the "Wacky Wall" area with the auto belays. It has a separate reservation portal/system and separate pricing. There's also a small private room off to the side for birthday parties and events. The climbing "cave" was pretty cool but damn do the holds need to be brushed. Slid off (probably because we rented shoes as well) more times than I'd like. Pretty challenging routes and a good variety of routes too, but I'm not sure how much they reset them. The wall whiteboard said June 2021 but that didn't seem updated. The fitness area was decent but I'd maybe become bored if the area became crowded with more people using it at peak hours. But since I wasn't planning on becoming a member, it was perfect. :) Locker rooms and showers were a little dated and old (women's side, I did not see the men's) but fit the requirements. The lockers have their own electronic locks with instructions on them, but I couldn't get them to work/many of them were locked. It didn't matter much to me since I wanted to keep most of my stuff in the cubbies out in the climbing area anyway. Wish we could come back to the gym more than once this trip but I'm sure we'll be back in the future.
