I was very excited to try this new spot in Morristown! With the closure of coldstone and many changes to the frozen dessert scene, I was happy to hear a new and unique place had opened up! First off service is friendly and really fast. There were many people eating and enjoying the ice cream but the line was short and quick. The cool thing about this place is you can get an ice cream sandwich and add your choice of brownie, cookie, or doughnut with any ice cream they had and get additional toppings. The ice cream is home made, coolies were french and soft but not too soft which helped with the ice cream and it all came in a cup which helped with containing it all. It was all very good and a great addition to Morristown! This place was great and I will definitely be returning. It definitely brings a new and unique taste to town. Highly recommend! read more

It's just so...cut and paste. It is not unique nor is the product good. At least if you're going to do something that's "modern" or "trendy" - the actual product should be good. I stopped in today to just try the ice cream on its own. I had the cake batter flavor and it is not your standard cake batter. It tasted like vanilla mostly. The sprinkles disintegrated and left a waxy taste on my tongue. My husband's mint ice cream was predictable and boring. I know we didn't try the cookie part, but if the ice cream isn't good I'm not interested in the cookie. read more

Everything is pretty sweet alone so to have an ice cream sandwich with their cookies or brownies can be overkill, but it's a good once-in-a-while indulgence. The staff that served me--I believe their names were Ariel and Saniah--were extremely pleasant, helpful, and patient when I was trying to figure out what I wanted. I don't know if they still sell it, but I remember buying this super cute candle from them of a cookie being dipped in a glass of milk with their logo on it. Oh no! I was so excited about this place, but it really fell flat. I got a cookie sandwich (they bake cookies in house and you choose the ones you want to pair with your ice cream flavor), and both of the cookies were so hard that with just one bite, all of the ice cream pushed out the sides, making it incredibly difficult to eat and just an all-around unpleasant experience. The cookies should be soft, like a regular ice cream sandwich, to avoid this happening. On top of that, the cookies and ice cream were both average, they didn't have a ton a flavor. It's a good idea, but I don't think I'll be back, unfortunately. read more

AmazIng new place for dessert in the Morristown area. Stack creamery specializes in ice cream sandwiches. They have ice cream in between 2 baked goods- which can be cookies, brownies, even donuts. You can also get everything separately. It's really close to the Green and is pretty much walkable from any part in downtown Morristown. Service was really friendly and food came out super fast! Such an amazing and different spot to open up around here. I love the customization options! You have a few options to customize your cookie ice cream sandwich, and you can pick two different cookies - one for the top of the ice cream sandwich and one for the bottom. Then you have your ice cream choices, which seemed to be all the basic flavors. Lastly, you have the option of adding a "topping" (they actually put it around the cookie on the ice cream part) for an extra $0.50. The staff is wonderful, attentive, and answers all your questions. We got the snickerdoodle cookie with Cookie Monster ice cream and Oreo bits around the side. It was soooo good! I would be back for the sandwich or just the ice cream itself! Take out only- no seating. Three of us went here. I got the mudslide (a coffee chocolate flavor) and a friend got the vegan vanilla. My mudslide was rather melty. Both had inclusions of ice chunks in them. Third person got the regular vanilla ice cream as a sandwich - the dairy vanilla was fine- no ice- and the cookies were good. Service was indifferent . Overall nothing special and there are so many good ice cream places in Motown that I wouldn't bother going here again. read more

I don't think this place quite rivals Beenies because they have a much much more limited menu BUT they do come close and they are a little different in what they offer. Personally, for me everything is about variety and I think they do a better job with that in their baked goods than they do with their ice cream. And it's a touch confusing because some of their ice cream flavors are names the same thing as the baked good so make sure you're clear about what you're ordering. I got the cotton candy ice cream sandwiched between a donut and liked it a lot but I can't see myself coming here too often for the reason of variety that I mentioned earlier. read more
