I love Beenie's ice cream! I have been visiting the ice cream shop for several years now. Beenie's is located near the Deloitte office building in downtown Morristown. Parking is tricky but there is a paid public lot across the street. Inside, there is a cute little seating area with picnic benches and some Adirondack chairs. Near the seating, there is a water cooler and plastic cups. Being located in the heart of Morristown, the prices are a bit on the higher side, but the ice cream is 100% homemade and sourced with local, seasonal ingredients. I love seeing all of the creative flavors and there are always so many different options to choose from. In the refrigerated section, there are pints and cakes available to take to-go. Monthly/seasonal flavors are offered as well. You can even create a custom ice cream flavor for a special occasion. Service is also very friendly and happy to help, even when they are very busy. They are very involved in the local community and source ingredients from surrounding local businesses. I am part of a local running club in town and each year they collaborate on a special flavor called "Neon Swirl". I can't wait for my next trip back to Beenie's to try more amazing flavor creations. Don't be fooled by the small cup, they pack those little guys with a massive scoop. The space is deceptively huge. Ice cream shop on one side and an adorable seating area as soon as you turn the corner. It is perfect for any group to sit and enjoy, decked out with adirondack chairs and picnic table for a cozy camping vibe. I bet it does get crowded on popular days - the front is really not super big, and with only one row of flavors (not arranged in a U shape, like at places with more space), everyone needs to stand in the same place while browsing. I got the coffee Oreo. I loved the soft cookie texture - crisp would've been wrong, IMO - but I do wish there were more coffee flavor. My boyfriend and I tried Bennie's and it was so good. We both got milkshakes and a pint to go. There are so many flavors to pick from it's hard to decide. We parked across the street by the Dunkin' Donuts. It gets very busy at night but the servis was quick and seamless. The staff were friendly and even let me Try a couple of flavors. They sell custom cakes online and custom ice cream. Definitely checkout their website and come in person to try. The shop was brightly lit and has a fun atmosphere. Beenie's was one of the best ice cream spots I've been to in a while! They let you try three samples out of their long list of ice cream flavors including some unique ones. I got the nutella ice cream which included pieces of chocolate covered pretzels which i thoroughly enjoyed. They have a decent amount of seating inside with cute and bright murals and decor. As we were leaving there were a number of people in line but it looked like the line was moving quickly. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area! read more

What a great ice cream shop! I stopped in on a weekday so it wasn't busy. The ice cream shop is bright and inviting. It has some seating inside that is cute and kid friendly. What I loved about this place was the wide variety of flavors. It was so hard for me to choose one. I was grateful that they had a few non dairy options. I tasted both non dairy and dairy options. I came here for the first time yesterday. There were two employees who were rather welcoming but a bit zoned in. When I went to order they gave a big scoop of mango ice cream which was super great in comparison to other places who give you half a scoop. I'm generally hard pressed to find an ice cream place that I don't love...and Bernie's didn't let me down. Wifey had been here before so I had high expectations. With WAY too many flavors for me to make a decision I asked our server (with hope in my voice) if a small was only a single flavor and he happily said..."nope, I can give you two." With that response I ordered a small with half oToasted Coconut and half Reese's Witherspoon. Wifey ordered a small Black Cherry Amaretto. We took a seat and dug in and my only regret is not going back for more. It is a little pricey here, but the ice cream is excellent, the staff was friendly, and the place was bright and inviting. Parking isn't super great, but it's close enough (across the street there is a lot - don't typically need to worry about paying since we come at night). Great flavors - they rotate some new ones and keep the crowd favorites. I'm a big fan of the Dunkaroos flavor and the Cookie Monster flavor. They have a fun seating area that feels like camping (you have to see it to know what I mean). I may have to say this is the best ice cream shop I've been to in New Jersey. Beenies is such a hidden gem. Going places I haven't seen gone before, Thai Ice Tea ice cream? I have gotten so many pints of it, guests are surprised he nails the taste perfectly. Recently he added Dr.Darkness which is like if a mousse cake fell in love with dark chocolate and they celebrate with little tiny chocolate chunks. It is fun to combine flavors & see what my friends & family order when they go. I get sad sometimes when flavors go, but the core ones always end up staying. I finally got to visit Beenie's after it had been on my to-visit list forever. It was a relatively busy Friday night in the shop, so I went to snag a picnic table for my group while they waited in the line. There's a separate section in a downstairs area that has several tables, and luckily, I found one to accommodate us. I perused their menu online and saw that they had marked several gluten-free options, which was helpful. I texted my SO to order me a Chiapas cold brew coffee, which was an excellent choice. My ice cream tasted fresh, flavorful, and it was something I normally wouldn't order when trying a new shop.
