Used to be where cold stone was l, this place is right off the green and has hot and cold items. Unfortunately they ran out of coffee but did get a decent milk shake. It for some reason had a burned smell when I came in which might be a one off strange smell but otherwise was a good experience.

MAKO - Make Your Own Mason Jar

A great spot for some good ice cream & milkshakes with friends & family! The place itself is very cute and bright. I got a cookies & cream milkshake blended with oreos, mochi & cookie dough and it came out quick and tasted good. The mason jars filled with ice cream always look beautiful and are very filling and great for sharing!

    Small Ice Cream Cup

There will be plenty of reviews on here for the huge mason jars that are absolutely beautiful and delicious. There will be plenty of reviews for the bubble tea, especially with the soft serve piled on top of it. But I'm here for the simpler pleasure of the small cup. Boring, right? But not here. Even the simplest small cup comes with 4 toppings. So it's unique soft serve flavors plus Pirouline and gummy bears and whipped cream and marshmallows (or whatever 4 toppings you choose). An amazing place you should all visit and get some the decadent stuff (it looks awesome). But here's to the small cup, which made this a great place to bring the kids and keep it exciting without going too crazy on calories or cost.

This place can get packed! Went on a Saturday night after dinner and it was the perfect end to our night. I got the passion fruit slushy which was okay but their soft serve ice cream is so much better. I tried the pumpkin cheesecake and early grey flavors and both were amazing. I love their unique flavors. The ice cream was flavorful and tasted as they should without being overwhelmingly sweet.

Matcha and taro soft serve with mochi bites

I was hoping for more but it was okay. The staff was super friendly and helpful but I was ultimately overwhelmed with the topping options. I got the matcha and taro soft serve swirl which I found to be a decent combo but I wasn't over the moon about it. Nice little spot off of the main strip to catch up and chat.

    Know Your Roots

Friends and I had such a fun time getting ice cream here! The price was not bad at all for the quantity you get. My friends and I got the "know your roots" which was taro ice cream with chocolate sauce, Graham crackers, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It was HUGE and we were all able to get our fill even though there were four of us! You even get to keep the mason jar! Another friend got matcha and taro in a cup and it was enormous! Definitely recommend coming here!

I had the Thai Milk Tea. It was very good. I don't live in the area, but I'd definitely return here if I did

Mystic fog Vietnamese coffee with earl grey ice cream

Not our first time and certainly will not be our last. So happy that a new Surreal opened in the area. Whatever you get is usually pretty Instagram worthy. My wife did not want to go by herself because there's no way she could finish. We got the Vietnamese coffee with earl grey ice cream (mystic fog) which will not leave you "foggy". That coffee is strong. The ice cream is smooth but we feel the earl grey flavor can be a lot stronger. The tapioca is ok. But together the drink is pretty perfect. It is not cheap ($10+ for what we got) but it's quality and the ambience is very nice and you can just sit and watch the cars in center of Morristown. The staff is also friendly and efficient. Even if you don't like it, you have a nice epic picture for Instagram to make your friends jealous.

After a show at MAYO we walked down to surreal creamery. My friend got the nom nom cookie and i got the chocolate blackout signature mason jars. The service was great, we ordered and didn't have to wait long for our ice cream. It's a cute ambiance with only a few tables to sit inside. My chocolate blackout was soo good, it has chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, Oreos, and Cocoa Puffs. I was missing the whip cream though, but it was still delicious.

an ice cream sundae with sprinkles

Very friendly staff, super clean inside, nice and bright with funky artwork on the walls. The menu is pretty large and you have the option of soft serve ice cream and tea with boba or some combination of the two. I got the ear grey soft serve and earl grey with boba, essentially a flotea as they call it. Super tasty but mainly soft serve with what seemed like a bit of tea and boba, and a medium sized waffle as garnish. Everything was tasty but I think I would have preferred to have more of an even amount of both. The portion of soft serve is quite large! It was a bit hard to finish in one sitting. I also sampled the Cookie Monster, Vietnamese coffee, taro, matcha soft served and the last would probably be my favorite. The Vietnamese one tastes just like coffee it's made from so expect a very strong flavor. Lots of toppings to choose from and lots of customization possible here in general.

Super cute interior with cool art. Staff is friendly and helpful. Options are fun and taste great. Flotea portion is massive so the price doesn't seem as bad when you're splitting it between 2 people.

    How it looks on website

ordered a mango bubble tea 4 times. first two were very good. third and fourth times? I got dirty looking water with a clump of bobas at the bottom. I called and explained to the kid who answered the phone that it's a milk based drink and what I got and he insisted "bubble tea is just tea and bubble things". I tried explaining that he could look at the website for how it should look but he just kept repeating "it's tea and bubble things". if you are going to feature something on the menu, you should teach the employees how to make it.

It's around $13 per banh mi which is a little higher than some places, but the quality and portion make it worth it 100%. I got the S1 and S8. The S1 was really good and something I would definitely order again. It's my husband's favorite. The S8 was the chicken and it came out warm with steam! A lot of other places make it but it's still cold. I also liked how fresh the ingredients taste. Service takes about 15 to 20 minutes for the order to come out just as a heads up. One Only small critique is the bread. While I like a crispy baguette, this one is a bit too crunchy and can cut the roof of your mouth a little. So don't gobble it down fast like I did. If they made it just slightly less aggressive it would be perfect. Overall I would definitely go back for more.

Parking can be a bit tricky given its location near a major road, but there is metered parking right out front. One thing I really appreciated was the thoughtful packaging. Instead of wrapping everything in paper/foil (which traps steam and softens the bread), they use takeaway containers that keep the banh mi bread crispy and intact. The portions are generous! I don't think I've ever had a bahn mi with so much protein! I personally asked for extra cilantro on some of the sandwiches which is why the cilantro looks so obnoxious in the pictures. Everything was solid and satisfying! The lemongrass chicken bahn mi stood out with its aromatic flavor. The Saigon special bahn mi though, could've used a bit more presence from the mayo and pate to enhance the flavors. Sounds weird, but surprisingly, the sardines in tomato sauce bahn mi was better than it sounds. It was savory and definitely worth trying if you're feeling adventurous. The summer rolls were fresh, clean, and a great complement to the sandwiches. My only note: I wish the pickled carrots and radish had a bit more tang. They leaned mild rather than punchy. Overall, a reliable spot with thoughtful touches and flavorful options. I'd come back again.

We were very excited to discover Malay nearby in Morristown, and we had to check it out. We ordered the Malay Prawn Mee, Chicken Sambal, and the Roti Canai. Roti Canai is one of my favorite Malaysian dishes, but this didn't quite hit the spot. The roti wasn't soft and dip-able. It was kind of flaky and kept falling apart every time I tried to use it to scoop up some curry. The curry was a little watery and not all that flavorful, and I defintiely would've appreciated more than just one or two chunks of potato and chicken. The chicken sambal and soup were additionally a bit disappointing. The chicken sambal was just okay for me, and the flavor didn't really blow me out of the water. It almost felt like something I could make at home. The soup similarly did not have a particularly rich or flavorful broth, and left me a little dissapointed. Another thing that really influences my review is how cold it was inside. It got even colder when people opened and closed the door. It was so cold that our food didn't seem hot. I think the cold air cooled it off instantly and we were left eating room temperature chicken and soup.

I had the Korean Kimchi soup ($17), a fabulous concoction of ramen noodles in a slightly spicy miso broth served with spam, kimchi, a soft-boiled egg, bamboo, wood-ear mushrooms, and corn. My dining companion had the Tokyo Chicken soup ($16) with udon noodles in a slightly spicy miso broth served with sliced teriyaki chicken, a soft-boiled egg, bamboo, wood-ear mushrooms, and corn. My carb-conscious dining companion seemed mildly surprised the chicken filet in her soup was breaded, rather than grilled.. but adjusted expectations accordingly. Both soups were served quickly and were fantastic. The portion sizes of our soups were very filling and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!
