Living in North Arlington was the place to go for breakfast. They are very fast , clean, friendly an good eating. I never had an issue. My food was never served cold or had a nasty server. I recommend if your a big breakfast eater. Lunch and dinner are great too! read more

One of my all time favorite breakfast spots! Service is super fast and friendly and the meals are huge! I love that all meals either come with home fries/toast or pancakes. I always opt for an omelette with whole wheat pancakes. A lot of places don't have this option. They also have amazing french toast and sausage. The prices are reasonable and you always leave feeling full and happy. Coffee refills happen frequently! There can be a decent wait around brunch time on the weekends, but it is definitely worth the wait. read more

Good food and friendly service. Was in the area and decided to drop by for breakfast before shopping. Limited parking so parked across the street. The place was packed on a Saturday morning which is a good sign. Greeted by a friendly gentleman at the door and there was a table for two available. Ordered 2 coffee, large steak & eggs, country fried steak, short stack pancake. Very friendly service. Free coffee refill. Bill came out to $30. Good value for the amount of food. Good diner food but atrocious service The good: stack omelet was perfect, potatoes were crispy on outside and soft inside, bacon was crispy. Toast was cold and margarine was disgusting. Meatloaf was average and tasted like a commercial product. Mashed potatoes are good. Frozen corn was good. Bluebbery pancakes were fluffy and delicious but didn't have whipped cream or blueberry sauce as menu indicated because waitress decided that because I declined to order other pancakes because they were filled with fruit gel that meant I didn't want whipped cream or blueberry syrup... how about you ask me?? Syrup on table is gross. Should use maple syrup. Waitress disappeared several times for way too long, never anticipated anything like silver ware, napkins, butter, etc etc. We had to keep asking for basic things and she'd leave before we finished talking which meant we had to ask her for something else when she finally came back. She made faces, acted annoyed and made a negative comment about us to another server. We might go back, but as soon as the server acts stupid we're outta there. read more

Primarily a breakfast and brunch establishment, the pancakes are above par. They are super busy on the weekends. Service is average. My personal opinion is that breakfast from a diner is much better. I don't plan on going back here anytime soon. read more

First time at the Stack. Great service and good food. Unfortunately, while approaching the counter to pay the bill, I slipped and fell on what appeared to be a greasy floor. After getting helped up from the floor, the manager at the register proceeds to look over the counter to check what kind of shoes I was wearing (had on boots), and without any comment like "are you okay?" or "I'm so sorry", instead he smirked (I admit it may have been funny to watch, but...) and said very rudely, "I thought you had sneakers on, well I guess we'll have to put sugar on that spot." I felt like I was being blamed for falling on a slippery floor. It was unfortunate that after such good service and food, that a manager would at the last minute make me not want to go back there. It's a shame that one person's attitude could really spoil an otherwise nice experience. read more

IHop who?! This place has the best pancakes I have ever had, EVER! Overall the employees are all pretty nice. It does get very crowded suring the weekend morning hours but even then the wait is usually no more than 10mins. There prices also make this place an awesome breakfast/brunch spot. This place is always busy on Sundays but it's worth a visit. I've heard that their chicken sandwich is the best, but each time I go it's to have their eggs and pancakes which are pretty good, I'll go through the rest of the menu in due time. BEST COFFEE I'VE EVER HAD. They clean their coffee makers constantly, use fresh grounds and brew with ice cold water. Great menu selection with several diner/pancake house classics that are consistently good. Their sausage is particularly tasty, and their omelettes are loaded and plentiful. Went there at 10 o'clock on a Saturday prepared for a wait and nope only waited few moments before shown to a booth. Very comfy homey atmosphere with friendly always checking in waitress. Lots of big groups in attendance but still felt very roomy. Prices great menu selection left nothing to b desired. I ordered almond French toast which was a special with sides of home fries & sausage. Was served two huge pieces of fresh bread and sausage and home fries were cooked to perfection. I'm giving 2 stars because though I have been going there for years and love this place, recently we've found their "large" juice is now quite small. And for the money, that's not going to cut it. At first we thought it was an accident to be served such a small glass and we didn't say anything (though we should have). But my husband returned and ordered a large and got the same little glass. This is too bad because the food is always good and service is usually speedy. Sometimes there is a wait and other times we end up getting there with perfect timing. If you don't usually get juice, this change won't affect you. But for us, it's robbery to be charged well over $3 for barely 8 oz of juice. I've eaten here several times. Food is actually pretty good. Initially I was hesitant to try, but glad I did. Pancakes are always good. They have several omelets to chose from, in addition to waffles, French toast, etc. They serve salads/sandwiches/burgers. Everything I've ordered from here was pretty good - kind of like diner food. I'm giving this place a three because the service can be hit or miss. Sometimes you will get a waitress that's is attentive and friendly or one that never stops by to check on you, let alone refill your beverage! Talk abt dying of thirst. read more

I absolutely love the Stack. I come here on a regular basis and every time that I come I get the Hungry Man's breakfast. You don't go to the Stack for dinner, or for steak... you go there for brinner. This is a great family place. Their pancakes are the best I've ever eaten. They have a delicious Belgian waffle as well. If you want lunch, I recommend their French Onion soup as well as their tuna melt. I've tried plenty in their menu and have never been disappointed. The staff is very nice and welcoming.
