I saw a post here on Nextdoor about Dr. Daniel Pederson who has set up a new practice on Main St. Dunedin at Highland Health Center 1022 Main St. Suite A. I want to let everyone know that I immediately chose Dr. Pederson as my new primary care physician. The office is modern and the surroundings are very relaxing. There is a large screen tv in the exam room displaying tranquil scenes along with refrigerated beverages and snacks. The office staff were very friendly and accommodating. Most importantly Dr. Pederson is very pleasant and he is an excellent and patient listener as well. At no time did I feel rushed and Dr. Pederson's demeanor made me feel very relaxed and comfortable talking with him. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a new primary care physician.

I have been seeing Dr. Moss for almost 4 years now . I don't even know where to start with this…read morereview because there is so many good things about her and her office . First of all you are always given her full attention.. no rushing or long waits. It is her and her two Nurse practitioners , so you never see an unfamiliar face at your visits (I love that). You can tell she truly cares and takes her time and REALLY listens when you see her . What I love is she also does female exams so no seeing a separate Doctor for that !!! I am comfortable with her and she always puts my nerves at ease. They always get me in when I need and they have a patient portal for convenience, I have never not got a response with questions or concerns ,they are always on top of it. The receptionist called me back and was unable to answer my medical concerns because she is a receptionist and not a doctor. I was not able to ask any further questions because the doctor never called me back, even after asking for the doctor to call back so I could get answers, like if I had medication being sent to a pharmacy. 2 weeks later the pharmacy, not this urgent care, called me to ask if I wanted to pick up my prescription. This urgent care has caused unneeded discomfort because of their lack of professionalism. I will be loud in telling everyone to avoid this joke of a practice as long as I live.

Today (4/14) was that follow up, and she is extraordinary. She went over my tests and records from ER, and past records from my previous primary. She was thorough, intelligent, and kind. She recommended a pulmonologist for my prior lung issues, recommended a follow up in a month to be sure the pneumonia was gone, and changed my June appointment to a wellness check & physical. Meanwhile, she asked me to please call if I got worse or needed anything. SHE is impressive! Her office staff is friendly and efficient. Erin was the one who called me Tuesday and I met her today when I checked in. Shameeka took my vitals before I saw Dr. Burca. Tracy checked me out, making my future appointments and giving me paperwork for referral & tests. All three women were cordial and skillful.

Wait times can exceed over two hours due to her personalized attention to her patients. Also expect to purchase supplements from only her office that are not covered by most health insurances. A very thorough Doctor, with very long wait times, and lots of out-of-pocket co-pays.
