Today we visited the new Palm Harbor location, where Jodi took excellent care of my mom. She is professional, attentive, and takes the time to listen. She explains everything clearly and thoroughly, making you feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. Our entire family has been coming to StadMed for years, and every visit has been a positive experience. They make us feel like more than just patients. they make us feel like family. I suffer from a sprained wrist and went to two other Urgent cares in the area, but none is even close to STATMED at Countryside Mall. Not only were they able to see me in a timely manner but they were able to do X-Rays on site (on a Sunday!) and provide a prescription to help with the pain. Thank you Rachel and Jennifer and everyone else who helped. In addition, they recommended that I see an Orthopedic doctor and gave me the name of one that took me on short notice, because I was referred by STATMED. Before that the assistant (Rachael) came along, took me to exam room and did all the preliminary mumbo jumbo such as history, meds, allergies, etc. She lunches it all in her laptop and tells me the "provider" shall be in shortly. I was the only patient in the joint (one was leaving after I arrived) yet it took the "provider" another 16 minutes to show up after the PA and her laptop left me alone in "Exam Room 1." I suppose it's pretty good that I'm not urgently ill if this is supposed to be "Urgent Care." If I WERE urgently ill, I'd likely be headed to ER instead, but I digress. Leighanne was pleasant enough I suppose. She spent a few minutes listening to my lungs and looking into the dark abyss of my yapper. So long story short: I was right about bronchitis. She went off to go do more computer crap and before U know it I was prescribed a steroid, an inhaler and antibiotics. Then she came back with my discharge instructions (no time off work: CRAP!) and sent me on my way. Altogether I was in there roughly 32 minutes...I guess I can't complain too much since one often sits for much longer periods whenever one deals with the mysteries of medicine and its minions. BTW: they test for COVID also. So if you feel a little low and got nowhere else to go, uh: here you have it. "Get well soon!"

You must take into account the nature of this office as a walk-in- clinic. There are priorities of seeing more acute patients first. Some have to wait. They are kind, compassionate and caring. They respect and listen to you. Since they are a walk-in, they may be limited in their orders. They are open and honest. Just what is expected. I will never hesitate to go there. You shouldn't either. There is a horrible virus going around which we contracted from an ill family member. He acquired at a hospital and brought it home. We are all very ill. I thank all the staff. Everyone protect yourself from anyone coughing. It might start as a cold. It is not in standard flu sets.

I brought my daughter to this location seeking medical care. Sadly, the care she received was…read moredeeply disappointing. Dr. Jerisa Berry did not appear to take the situation seriously. The only symptoms documented were nausea and vomiting, and she prescribed anti-nausea medication without further evaluation. The nausea was related to something my child had ingested, which I prefer not to discuss publicly due to the personal nature of the matter. No bloodwork was ordered, and no thorough physical exam was performed. We were told nausea medication would be given, and that was the extent of the visit. Uncomfortable with the lack of assessment, we sought care at HCA Florida Largo West Hospital. The physician there was surprised that even basic bloodwork had not been ordered by the doctor at HCA Florida Gulf to Bay. At Largo West, they conducted the necessary testing, identified a serious issue, and admitted my child for further care. There was, in fact, a significant medical problem that had been missed by Dr. Jerisa Berry. I truly believe my child's condition was not properly evaluated during our initial visit at HCA Florida Gulf to Bay. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this HCA location. Mainly because of Dr. Berry's gross negligence. Her lack of a thorough evaluation and poor bedside manner were very concerning, and the outcome could have been far more serious had we not sought care at another hospital.

If we had a true emergency, no would have known. Then their stupid check-in kiosk glitched out on us 3 times and we weren't even able to use it. Then the security guard gave us a piece of paper to fill out that was wrong. My husband finally gets taken back, and they don't discharge us for another 3 hours! To literally get an IV, 2 if push meds, and a "20 min" drip that actually took an hour. Everyone literally forgot my husband was there. He was shouting, knocking, calling, and had to get super loud to get anyone's attention for discharge 1 hour later. Absolutely unnecessary and insane
