An industry that has been almost made extinct should not suffer in customer service. Our one and only visit to this travel agency has convinced us that small and local is not always the best option. Two women sitting at desks. One is taking a phone call. The other explains to us that she only handles documents and paperwork. Hmmmm..we did not even ask anything. No hello...just a declaration of her job functions and how they do not relate to any questions or concerns we may have. We promptly walked out the door..... Do not book anything through this company. Complete scam they take all your money then when a global pandemic happens and changes the date of your vacation they then tell you to hold off on booking your trip, they then call you back and tell you that you cannot get a refund because the trip was never rebooked. Only reason on 1 star is because they wouldn't let me leave 0/5. read more

We learned what we wanted in a travel agent through our experience with Stacy's Travel. I'm very business minded and value professionalism and customer service above all else. This establishment is messy, outdated, glosses over details, doesn't call back, mixes up facts, and brushes off requests and inquiries. I can only imagine its in business because it was a good business at some point and locals are somewhat loyal. I felt every question I had was an inconvenience to this staff and asked other family members to handle transactions with this office, but they had the same unwanted feeling. I'm shocked my all the negative comments by everyone. My family and I booked our trip to Disney world for May and we dealed with Ada and she was so sweet and helpful. Even months after we had everything set I wanted to add my boyfriend onto the trip she said that was no problem at all and while I was on the phone with her she did it all right then and there. First my sister was the planner in all this but then I took over and being the worrier that I am I called Ada a lot to make sure of things to ask any questions I had and I knew I was getting annoying but she didnt mind she was always happy to answer my questions for me. If you go through Stacys travel ask for Ada she is so sweet and super helpful. I will definitely be using them again in the future! read more

I wish I could give ZERO stars, but that isn't an option. We booked a vacation a year in advance. Life happened and we had to cancel a few months later due to unexpected financial obligations. They told me we had to come in to cancel. I did. When I was told there is a cancellation fee for Stacy's Travel (not the cruise line we booked through) I took my credit card out. I get it, nobody is happy to have to pay a cancellation fee, but I understand why they do. It was $25 a person and yes they did charge a cancellation fee for our two children that are 7 and 5 years old, so $100 bucks. Whatever, I get it. I handed my credit card over and Stacy, the owner herself, sat behind me saying, "My employees don't work for free" and things like "You don't work for free why should we." Hostile. Another woman started pulling out the contract and making copies and trying to show it to me, to which I said, "I agreed to pay it already, I don't need to see the contract." So, as the environment grew more hostile with unnecessary comments, the poor women actually helping me wrote down my credit card information and then told me I could leave. I went to leave and Stacy stood up and said, "I am going to call the police if you leave!" (RIDICULOUS!) She stated I had to sign my credit card statement, which the employee hadn't even run my card yet, she was going to charge it later (like you would over the phone with the expiration date and security code on the back). Stacy and two other employees bullied me while the woman typed my information in and charged my card. This seemed to take a lifetime... I was called a "terrible client" and Stacy said "We don't want your business." I commented about that and said, "This is disgusting" and the women called me disgusting back and laughed at me. I mean full-on bullying, all because I had to cancel... just gross. I've never been talked to that way by a group of strangers. Terrible business. Terrible employees. TERRIBLE SPITEFUL OWNER. I used Stacy's Travel to book a ladies cruise out of Miami. Everyone in the office was great to work with. I especially enjoyed talking to Kerry. She was very helpful and friendly. She gave me great tips on where to go and what to do at each port. With so many women going on the trip I thought we might have problems with coordinating everything, but group travel seems to be their specialty. It was so nice to have the coordination handled by someone else! The vacation was great and we all were happy with our rooms and accommodations. Well, I can only agree with the previous negative reviews here. I came here to get a gift certificate for a wedding gift as the couple requested, and I could not have been more disappointed with the rude woman who worked there. I drove from Detroit, so that is an hour of my time to spend my money at this place. There website states they are open from 9am until 6pm, I arrived at 5:15 and could not be helped. There was a woman sitting on a computer inside and the door was locked, I knocked on the door and she kept shaking her head no. Yep you read that right, shaking her head like a stern mother who was disciplining me. She finally came to the door and unlocked it and said, "we closed early today." I politely asked her if she could please sell me a gift card quickly. She then replied, "it's not a quick process." Are you kidding me? Did she have to dive for a Dead Sea scroll and inscribe it with hieroglyphics? How long can a gift card take? Well, the couple is getting cash because I will never spend a dime here.
