The next day I called as something was still leaking and he found a crack in the toilet as well as the bowl - Al had dust and signs of having been there. I bought a toilet to try & defray the costs but the two appointments cost over $800! the plumber had a fairly bad attitude and sent me some nasty texts - insinuating I had cracked the toilet the night he was first there. I would not use them and do not recommend them. Cost was same as was quoted when the plumber got the toilet - outrageous pricing and bad attitude.

Being concerned about the expensive local plumber I have used in the past I went on the web! Not being comfortable with the label "PIPE DREAMS" I bit the bullet as he was very local and had a high "yelp" rating so I gave him a call the next business day about 9 am and left a message. He called me back about 10am from out of town but requested if he could stop by about "noon' time: and HE DID 1pm! He took one look and started taking his first of many trips to his truck and came back with a ladder and camera and found a leak at the 3 clock side of the connection. It was a very difficult repair. The steel ring holding the toilet was totally rusted out. But he had the tools in the truck . He not only had the tools in the truck he had all the parts to return the entire toilet to NEW CONDITION and rolled out at 2:45pm and I had a new toilet for HALF THE COST ANTICIPATED . I WAS STUNED. as a register professional engineer he exceeded my highest expectations . He knew what to do, how to do it, prepared to do it, and pleasant and friendly doing it. I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIPE DREAMER

Since May 2021, I have dealt with six separate frozen regulator failures at my property -- a recurring problem that multiple Rymes/Superior employees and my independent licensed plumber all attributed to the same root cause: water in the lines/tank. 5/24/21 -- Regulator failure; entire house smelled of propane. 2/04/23 -- Frozen regulator, pipes froze. Cost me $1,100 out of pocket. 2/18/23 -- Froze again two weeks later. 11/29/23 -- Froze again after a delivery. Cost me $250 out of pocket. Was told to have handyman insulate the regulator because Rymes wouldn't fix the actual problem. 12/14/24 -- Froze again. 12/06/25 -- Froze again, with the tank at just 18% and no automatic delivery triggered -- a failure of their own delivery system. This spring, they drained the propane in my tank (poof, in the air) and it was confirmed that there was water in my underground tank. They finally replaced the tank this month. To add insult to injury, in the process caused $4,498 in damage to my driveway (their insurance did cover this, to their credit). Beyond these failures, customer service has been consistently abysmal. I once spent 2 hours and 16 minutes on hold just trying to reach a live person about an active freeze up. In addition, I am currently paying $0.92 more per gallon than their competitor charges. In total: over $33,623 spent with this company, $1,600 in additional costs directly caused by their negligence, five years of stress, and property damage. If you're considering Rymes/Superior Propane, look elsewhere!

Upon asking him the nature of the call, he proceeded to scream at me. I explained I was unsure if he was looking to confirm that our material was available, or to set up an order - he flew into a rage, and began yelling at me. I told him I will not be spoken to in that manner- he wouldn't stop yelling. Eventually, before hanging up on me he said "F**k you, you Stupid f***ing Bi**h!!!" Cal Dunn is an aggressive, dangerous man. It's terrifying to think he's out there using heavy machinery. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY!!

BEWARE!!!!! Calvin…read moreDunn, the owner of Extreme Excavation was doing excavation work in the 'over 55 community that I live in in New Hampton, New Hampshire'. He covered our entire yard with loom. However, there was a medium sized squared off area in the back of our yard that was not covered with the loom. My husband and I couldn't figure out why he would have left that area without loom because all the heaps of loom looked all spread. I wasn't sure if he left it uncovered because we are having a shed delivered in that area. So, I took a walk up the hill to where he was standing next to his crane and said "excuse me can I ask you a question". He turned around and abruptly said what! He proceeded to yell at me that he wasn't finished and yelled other things that I couldn't make out and I said "I was just curious why you left a corner of our yard without loom." He went off on me about how people are always asking him questions and that I was wasting his time and he could have had it all done by now, but instead he was answering my questions. He was 2 houses away from mine, he would have to be awfully fast. He was so mean. As he turned and walked away from me, while I was talking, I said you don't have to be so mean and he turned around and told me to f'n go to my f'n house and watch cartoons and learn something from them. As far as I am concerned that was the rudest interaction I ever had with an owner of a company. That does not look good for his company and most of all it wasn't called for. I was not out of line. This happened in front of my neighbors. One of them asked me what happened and as I was telling him, out of nowhere Calvin came driving, in the crane, at full speed toward me and my 4-pound Chihuahua and my neighbor pulled me toward him to get me out of the way of Calvin. I hurried and grabbed my dog and my neighbor pulled me back further because Calvin was NOT slowing down. If I stayed where I was (which was off to the side of the road talking to my neighbor at his house), Calvin would have run over my dog and hit me as well. Both my neighbor and I was shocked. Remember Calvin Dunn of Extreme Excavation is very dangerous! Again, he is the owner of the company, Extreme Excavation and his attitude is not what you would expect. A SUGGESTION: DO NOT HIRE HIM!!! He is extremely mean and dangerous. There was no reason for Calvin to speak to a resident (me) like that AND put mine and my dog's life in danger. It wasn't called for. The owner of the community hired him. I can't get over the rude and crass way he spoke to me. I didn't yell at him or talk mean. I just asked a simple question to be sure he didn't do that due to the shed coming. I would think twice before hiring Calvin Dunn with Extreme Excavation. He could be nice one minute then volatile the next minute. I seriously thought he was having a nervous breakdown.
