Guess what - he did not show up the next week and then just stopped responding to my texts. I understand that delays come up but why is it my responsibility to have to repeatedly contact him when no one shows up on the scheduled date again and again? If something comes up, LET ME KNOW! And if you don't want to do it, LET ME KNOW! After a month of having my texts ignored, we gave up on him and contracted with the city to do the repair.

Once he had us locked into a contract he started speaking to us in a sarcastic, accusatory way. He constantly vocalized how much he despised pets, despite knowing how we had them. Somehow everything we did in our own home was wrong according to him. Josh was the guy who actually worked on our place. He started out good, except when he was 4 hours late the second day. Said it was because he had to pick his kid up from the airport, which is fine, but he obviously knew about this ahead of time and felt no need to let us know. His tardiness multiple days resulted in him rushing the last 2, leading to some pretty awful work. Thursday evening we were supposed to be staying away from the fumes and finish because it was toxic so we moved into the basement. THE TOXIC LIQUIDS STARTED LEAKING THROUGH TO WHERE WE WERE STAYING. Josh hightailed it out of there leaving us to deal with his screw up. Told Patrick about this and he couldn't have possibly cared less, again blaming us. Real icing on the cake was how everything turned out. Upstairs looks alright, the stairs look like a 4th grader did them. I pointed this out to Josh (the one who did them) and he agreed they looked bad but said we'd "get used to them in a couple of years". WTF?!?! Why should we need to get used to a bad job??? Told this to Patrick and while he said he agreed they looked like crap, wouldn't do anything to fix them or discount the shit work. He then instructed Josh to basically sabotage our floors and not fix them unless we paid him PRIOR to the work being done. All in all, Patrick is a miserable unprofessional animal hater whom I highly regret working with. Josh seemed to be alright but realistically was lazy and did shotty work. Neither one of them had any professional pride. Will be filing a complaint against them. Horrible experience.
