The homeowner called us crying demanding to cancel the order because how rude and disrespectful the Delivery driver was. We will be taking our business of 200 + projects a year to a more professional and reliable lumber supplier. I would STRONGLY Recommend going with a different company for your lumber needs. I would recommend Conrad lumber or Sherwood lumber. That good service ended this morning with an interaction with the manager in self checking over a five dollar battery coupon. We've used these coupons twice in the last several weeks while making purchases. Today the manager told us that Home Depot doesn't accept these coupons although the coupons are with the batteries for customers. We explained we used them twice, recently and had no problems. He then went and removed the coupons and said a rep put them there. We told the manager we were purchasing from Home Depot and not a rep. An experienced manager would have honored the coupon and removed the others if this was in error. This five dollars that Home Depot saved just lost them any future sales to our family. A company that's worth billions and this is how they treat long term customers isn't where we want to shop.

We live in Portland and called to price out Sundance. Their prices were significantly less than…read morelocal suppliers so we decided to drive up to get a handful of 2' size boulders. We were greeted right away by nice young man Brody, who explained their pricing and where to find what we were describing. We found several rocks we liked from different stacks so I headed to get help. Brody saw me coming back and immediately came out of the office to offer assistance. We showed him the rocks we wanted and he tagged them and started loading them to be weighed. I was impressed at how efficient, skilled and safely he handled the big equipment. He had us weighed and loaded in no time. We were able to pay the $218 right there at the truck with his hand held device and we were on our way. Overall we were very impressed and the short drive across the river was well worth the savings. We priced out the same number of rocks in similar styles in Portland and the Portland suppliers were nearly twice what we paid here. If you're a dog person, there's added bonus (not related to Sundance) is that they are right next to a huge dog park that we weren't aware of so we were able to take our dog there for some fun afterwards too.
