This place has all the right people - it is obvious that each person cares about my pets. They are kind to them, patient, and accommodating. When I have special requests or needs (like medications or things to be careful of) they are always mindful of it. Whenever I pick up my pets my pets are happy to see me but also don't look like they were sad to have been there. And my pets never resist going here, which says a lot. The facility is always clean, tidy, and safe for my pets. I appreciate that they let me see where my pet will be, so I can feel more comfortable about my pet's stay. Whenever I call, they are always happy to tell me the truth about how my pet is doing. And they give a very personalized report - so I can tell they are hands-on. (If you've ever done a Petsmart boarding, you know what the opposite of this is like.) One time my pet had a medical need arise (which wasn't a surprise to me because of my pet's medical situation). They notified me immediately and offered to take my pet to their adjacent veterinary office to be seen immediately. I declined, but appreciated their attentiveness and care. They also are a pet supplies store! They have treats, food, care supplies, supplements, leashes, etc. I cannot say enough positive things about Tehachapi Pet Lodge.

I cannot say enough good things about bouquet kennels. What…read morean absolute blessing it is to have a safe space for my Luna. We rescued Luna in February. And soon came to learn a couple of things about her. 1-she was a jumper 2- she has pretty severe separation anxiety. For the first couple of months, I took her almost everywhere with me. When I couldn't take her, there were times when I had to struggle to make arrangements for her. As mentioned with the jumping and the separation anxiety, the arrangements would have to be very specific. Making sure that it was with people I could trust. Which usually meant Family because they would be the most available. Well, when there was family events, it was even harder for me to figure out what I would do with her. I knew that a very close family friend regularly uses bouquet kennels. So I spoke with her about them. She said amazing things and highly recommended. So I reached out online and let me just say they were amazing from the beginning. Incredibly receptive and Patient especially with my many questions. I was able to get Luna in for an overnight within two days of first reaching out. Of course, when I came time to drop her off, I was incredibly anxious and worried about leaving Luna. That anxiety and worry started to fade the minute I pulled up and Jessica and Kayleah came out to greet us. Within minutes, I was secure a confident in the choice to bring Luna to Bouquet kennels. I was able to go and spend an entire day out with my family and not worry once. Of course, I thought about Luna and hoped she was doing OK but I didn't have to worry at all. I knew not only was she safe and secure, but she was being loved and cared for. When I arrived the next morning to pick up Luna, I was given a wonderful report about her. And again, I must stress that I knew Luna had had a great experience. In speaking with Jessica and Kayleah I learned that bouquet kennels accepts dogs of all temperaments. I think that's wonderful. I know that all dogs have different personalities and some of them are not as easy others. And knowing that there's a place that accepts those that aren't so easy is such a relief. Every pup should have a safe place to go where they will be accepted. I cannot recommend Bouquet Kennels enough. Needless to say, I will be using them whether it's for the day, overnight, or multiple nights. It is such a gift to have a wonderful safe space for my dog. Thank you Bouquet kennels!!

On…read more03/03/2026 I came in to purchase alfalfa hay and asked a young male clerk if it was in stock. During our interaction, he repeatedly yawned and shrugged his shoulders while speaking with me. His demeanor made it very clear that he was annoyed and inconvenienced by having to assist me. He then had to call another associate to ask whether alfalfa hay was available and when the next shipment would arrive. The second associate, a blonde female employee, advised me to speak with a manager. I left the store feeling very unhappy and dissatisfied with the level of customer service I received. Later, I called the store and spoke with Kayla Henderson. She stated that the employee was new and that I needed to have patience. While I understand that new employees require training, yawning repeatedly in front of customers and shrugging as if assisting them is a burden is not acceptable customer service behavior. I also informed her that when I previously brought a concern to her attention last year, I felt dismissed at that time as well. During this recent call, she responded with "whatever" and hung up on me. Being hung up on while attempting to address a legitimate customer service concern is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I am not writing this letter to cause trouble, but rather because I believe customers should be treated respectfully and professionally. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed and addressed appropriately.

They even work with your dog while you're away whether it be socializing, housebreaking, etc. My 7 month old always comes home happy and calm.
