I had a bit of a struggle getting the referral to them but 24 hours later it was with intake. I didn't hear from anyone for several days and when I finally was able to get someone they said it was still in intake. Only when I called back and pressed hard and asked for a supervisor did they tell me that they DO NOT serve our area. Valuable days were wasted on waiting on them and my Mom suffered in that time. Shame on them!

The staff from Complete Care Santa Barbara were great…read moreat coming weekly to check on her progress before that and were able to notify us when it was time for daily help. My MIL wanted to stay at home so my family moved in Aug 2012. We worked closely with the Complete Care SB since I didn't have prior experience as a caregiver. In fact, Carolyn diagnosed the moment my MIL was having a TIA and stayed with us until she was settled in the hospital. She was also there at discharge. Katie took over care a few months later but we never noticed a difference in the exceptional care. They were with us right until the end when my MIL was able to pass peacefully. We would strongly recommend Complete Care Santa Barbara to anyone needing assistance wherever your loved one resides. They made our experience as caregivers so rewarding and gave us so much support. I would have really struggled if it hadn't been for their loving kindness and understanding.

While the decision to discharge was based on the comfort and familiarity of home, I want to express my gratitude for the care we received during our short stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Angelica , who immediately made us feel safe and supported. She was one of the very few smiling faces we saw during such a stressful time, and her warmth set the tone for our experience. She took the time to orient us to the room, the services offered, and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Her compassion was genuine, and it showed in every interaction. On the day of discharge, Angelica wished us well and said something that stuck with me: "I'm so glad to see you going home, but if you ever want to stop by and say hello, our doors will always be open." That kind of care goes beyond clinical duties it shows heart. The facility is busy, and while the staff has many patients to care for, it's clear they do their best. I'm thankful for the kindness, professionalism, and support shown to us during our week there. While we're happy to continue healing at home, we leave with gratitude for the people who helped us take that next step. If I could give more stars I would!!!!

She is also quite rude to family members & just has a really bad attitude in general. Her bedside manner is NOT what the founder of this place would like to see. I am surprised there haven't been enough complaints to get her booted out of here. There should be. Please whoever else has had hideous encounters with this %&#!!!!, please speak up!!! Dying people deserve so much better. When my dad asked what he was given to eat in one of his first few days there she said "it's none of your business". WOW!!! & told us several times in front of us he'd never open his eyes or wake up again. He did & he sat up & talked to us too for several more days after she said that. Otherwise this is a nice place. One bad apple can ruin the whole bunch tho & she almost did.
