We received a text offering an appointment for a routine spray. The appointment was immediately accepted via return text. When I called the office the day before the routine spraying was going to happen (to verify the price), the appointment was not on the calendar. Ashley told me that I should have also followed up by calling her after I returned the text because she gets so many texts that she can't keep up with them. I questioned why it was my responsibility to follow up when we had a text exchange. Again she reminded me how busy she is and how she can't be expected to follow up on every text. Instead of insisting (several times) that I should have called after returning a text message, I felt as if we weren't getting anywhere. I felt we could have moved past this, called it a mix-up and rescheduled, but that's not how it turned out. An apology would have been all it took to smooth this over. Mistakes are made - I get that. It's how mistakes are handled that makes all the difference. Unfortunately for both of us, I canceled the service because of how the phone call went. Ashley told me she would tell her sister (I assume her sister is an owner) of my disappointment. I waited two weeks and never heard from anyone at Wild West.
