He was very accommodating to a change in decision on how I wanted it completed. He was honest and when I made the change it actually became cheaper and he was upfront with that. Fast forward to now and we just had hurricane Ian blow through here. We didn't think our fence would make it through that but IT DID. Our neighbors fence was not so fortunate. The owner of the North River Fence company came out and gave me an estimate to repair my chain link fence from damage due to a hurricane in 2024 on 2/17/2025. During the site visit he was here 5 minutes went to his truck and left without speaking to me at all. Upon receiving his estimate, we agree to a contracted amount of $1106.21 on 2/28/2025. A deposit amount of $553.12 was given on 3/5/2025. On 3/26/2025 I received an email stating I would be required to remove bushes/plants etc. prior to the repairs being done. Previous estimates from fence companies already included this within their estimates OR told me what would need to be removed. I just assumed the same with the estimate from North River. During the mini home visit or written estimate, nowhere was it stated about being required to remove foliage. Since I am not able to physically do this yard work. I would have to pay someone in addition to the fence repair cost which is why full disclosure should have been made to me PRIOR to sending a deposit. If I had known this the cost of his fence repair would have higher than others I received. So, we had to cancel the 1st repair date and removed plants. We rescheduled a couple weeks later on Saturday, 4/26/2025 for the repairs. His office called 4/24/2025 and wanted to change it to Friday. I told her NO since the neighbors who share the fence behind me and myself would not be home. Never received a call back from the office to confirm, so I believed we were still on schedule for Saturday 4/26/2025. His company was a NO CALL/NO SHOW on Saturday. We sent numerous texts and calls as to where they were. As of today 4/29/2025, I still have not heard from the company. I sent an email to cancel services 4/26/2025 at 4:30pm. As of this writing I have still not heard from the company owner and the office person who I did most of the talking too. I am working with my bank to file fraud charges against the company for breach of contract for failing to provide the services paid for or provide a reason as to why they did not show up.

After positive past dealings with H&Y I referred them to a member unit-owner to replace a wood courtyard enclosure with vinyl. They were prompt with their estimate and were selected out of three companies by the homeowner to perform the job. The job was completed but needed to be lowered slightly to match the height of others in the Association. Despite a delay caused by the hurricane, Jerry, the owner, saw to it that the adjustment was made to our specifications. Given the relative insignificance of this re-visit in comparison to the volume of fence work a hurricane can produce, H&Y kept their commitment and for that the homeowner and I were thoroughly impressed. It is not often these days that we witness this kind of integrity in business dealings so when we do we must recognize it. At the 7 week mark, I was curious because no one had called me with an update on my order. They said they would call in a couple of weeks once they had my install ready to schedule. Jason did call and schedule for the following week at 9am. There were some set-backs on install day, for I had been scheduled to be 9am and by 10am, no one had shown up or called. Having taken the morning off, I was upset when I ended up having to take the full day off and they didn't even arrive until after 2pm. The crew was very efficient, with Sergio heading the team. They worked for a couple of hours. Glad I was there, to review fence before they finalized or they would have installed the fence sloped to accommodate the yard. Fence should be even, dirt can be added to even the slope of the yard on the side of the house. The posts were corrected and fence install continued. Second day they came back and finished the job. Fence looks great and truly adds value to the house. I think the installation crew is top notch. The office staff really needs to improve on their communication skills with their customers. It's like they don't care about the customer but boy did they call right away to get paid. No one ever apologized for making me wait all day when I had been scheduled for a 9am install.

Miguel was very responsive and contacted us to set a time to check the area for the estimate. They used the survey we had done to locate where the fence would be placed. We selected Ace because he came with brochures for us to see the options and was knowledgeable during the estimate. The value for the price is fantastic. Ace came with all the materials on a trailer the Monday after Thanksgiving. They had to load it that morning since they didn't work over the weekend. They created their lines with a laser and string making sure they were in the proper location. They finished the length of gate on the first day and the gate the morning of the second day. I was amazed how fast they dug the holes and assembled the fencing. The fence is beautiful. It's nice to have privacy in the backyard but it beautiful, as well. With my last fence installation (less than 2 years ago) I thought perhaps the double gate system was less than stellar, but I did not complain. This, however, is about Casique, not them. Not only did Jose and Kanisha both come quickly to assess (in person) the issue, but they also offered an extremely fair price and, most importantly, service within days! Not weeks, not months, days. I realize writing this that it will not always be the case, as I hope they get more work than they ever expected, but their concern, and empathy are astounding. In this day and age, customer service is imperative for every single business, and that is where they equally excel! I say equally, because the finished product is an order of magnitude better than the previous, came with a custom-created metal frame for rigidity, and the proper number of dropdowns. The construction is obviously superior.
