Standing Stones Bed Inn and Breakfast in Condon was such a welcoming, comfortable place for an unplanned overnight visit to Seeley Lake. Lynn, the proprietor, was incredibly gracious and welcomed us from the first phone call. She made us feel like treasured guests even though we were arriving late and did not have reservations. The accommodations themselves are spacious and comfortable. Rooms are very traditionally decorated and beds are fluffy and comfortable, there is an electric fireplace and ample outlets for your electronics...yes, they have WIFI and TV. I appreciated that although it was a bed and breakfast, there were private bathrooms in our rooms. There are plenty of toiletries and I'm sure what wasn't there, Lynn would have tried to provide. She was so willing to please and make us at home. We slept well and rose to Lynn's home cooked breakfast of coffee and juice, fresh fruit, huckleberry jam, baked apple cinnamon oatmeal, scrambled eggs and the best raisin cinnamon toast, which was almost like french toast. Everything was delicious and she served us with conversation and a huge smile at a family sized table. We truly felt special and thanked our lucky stars to have stumbled upon her B&B. Rooms were impossible to find on this weekend where both a basketball tournament and a music festival were being held in Seeley Lake. But even if there were plenty of rooms available elsewhere I still would have made Standing Stones my FIRST choice. Impeccable, genuine hospitality is alive and well here. And for the icing on the cake, the mountain views are breathtaking. Homey, unpretentious, very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for a low key, low maintenance stay! read more
