Very good breakfast. We had 4 in our party all enjoyed their meal. I liked my meat omelette. My wife had the buffet and my cousin had a vegetarian omelette. And what a beautiful view of the mission mountains.

In town for a wedding, so spending the weekend here. Absolutely breath taking views. Waiting for more friends to join us to enjoy this property.

First off, having the backdrop of the Mission Mtns was awe-inspiring. The staff were very warm & welcoming. Having a restaurant & bar on the premises made our night amazing. Very relaxing. Will definitely stay here again!

First time dropping into Ninepipes after a drive through the National Bison Reserve. We had visited the cool museum at Ninepipes but dining there was new. When we arrived for our early dinner, we were warmly greeted and seated at their best available table. Our server was very sweet and informative. They have a broad menu with all sorts of interesting options although we were told that they are best known for their steaks. I had their Indian Taco Fried Bread. It was basically wild game chili and taco fixings on top of fried bread. It was delicious. My wife had medium-rare prime rib, baked potato and asparagus, all without his so it could be gluten-free. Her meal was outstanding. Ninepipes earned future visits from us. It is a great spot to visit when traveling between Missoula and Kalispell. The food is great, the venue is beautiful, and the nearby museum and coffee shop make this more than just a restaurant.

Want a view? Try here. Great local restaurant. Will accommodate reservations no problem.

The food is just ok, but the decorations are great. The price is a little too high for the taste and choice of food on the menu.

Reasonable accommodations. Not pleased that housekeeping bopped into the room fully 2 hours before the checkout time.

Most people probably race past this place on their way to/from Glacier and Missoula, but it's worth stopping and spending a few hours.

We opted to stay here and recuperate in Alameda's hot springs after three days of strenuous hiking…read morein Glacier National Park and before flying back out of Missoula. This very cozy complex of cottages and rooms were built in the 1930s. The hot water in the kitchen and in the room tubs are all from the hot springs below the retreat center. I asked, and apparently you can actually drink the hot spring water. Though it does taste strange (because of all the sulfur and magnesium). And it may impact your digestion. (We did NOT drink the hot spring water available from the sink in our room's kitchenette! We only drank the cold water, which is from the municipal tap.) I think that the way this place works is that the rooms have permanent residents. But when they are out of town for an extended period of time, their rooms get rented out to travelers like me. My partner and I stayed in Room #9, which was smaller than the other rooms, as it lacked a full bathroom. Instead the room had a tiny closet next to the bed with only a toilet in it! Because of this situation, occupants of Room #9 are able to access the "Mermaid Room," which has a toilet, sink, towels, and a vintage clawfoot bathtub (again, with hot spring water coming out of the faucet). This means, that a single person can have their own private hot spring soak in the Mermaid Room, which we took advantage of. Our room had a cozy bed with a space heater. We never felt cold in the room. The kitchen next to our room had a small table, an electric stove and oven, fridge, and utensils and plates. I wish it had basic spices and some cooking oil, but the town's grocery stores are a 5-minute walk away. While the access to the private bathtub was nice, my partner and I also wanted to soak together and outdoors, so we signed up for a 7:00 pm soak (an extra $10 for 2 people) in one of their four outdoor tubs, all separated from each other by high wooden fences, for privacy. The tubs are pretty basic. No jets or bubbles. But it was lovely to be able to soak under the stars. The town also has other nearby public hot spring tubs, two of them run by the tribes ($5 each - cash only and honor system), but none of them were private like Alameda's. Also, the staff we engaged with (who I think were also residents) were all very kind and helpful. We highly recommend this cozy spot with a lot of history and character (and characters)!

We booked directly, at the last minute, over the phone, and couldn't yet specify the number of nights we would need our two-bed room. The owners were completely flexible about that and we kept them apprised of our plans as soon as we knew them. This is a "self-serve" motel in that no one is on-site. You are given instructions on how to access your room, including the door code, before your arrival, via email. The same door code gives you access to an "amenities room" where you may pick up extras such as blankets, toilet paper, etc. The building is one-story, cute and a little dated. The room was furnished with two queen sized beds, a glider rocker, 2 nightstands, a microwave, a small coffee maker, and a large flatscreen tv with Dish satellite. There is an easily adjustable wall heater that makes it nice and warm quickly. Our bathroom had a tub-shower. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean. Across the street is a cafe that serves lunch and dinner, and currently serves breakfast just 1-2 mornings a week. They give a discount to motel customers. About 3 blocks away is an espresso drive-through. So the location is convenient to important morning needs! :-) Whenever we had a need, we could text or call the owners and always got an immediate response no matter the hour. After four nights, we planned to leave but there was a winter storm warning so we weren't sure if we would be able to make it out. They were willing to hold our room for us until we knew we could make it out and just let them know by texting. We really appreciated their willingness to be so accommodating and flexible. Would definitely stay here again.
