Little dive off the 60. It's worth the stop. We had our four foster kids with us, and just wanted to go out for a drive. It was about twelve noon and kids were hungry. We were pulling into Salome and seen this restaurant off to the side. Kids had cheeseburger and fries, wide had a BLT sandwich with fries. I had the green chili burrito. Burgers looked good and the kids loved it. Wife said her BLT was excellent. My green chili burrito was also very good. One thing about the burrito. Dish comes with rice and beans. Plate is large enough for two people. Overall we had a great experience, Food was great Service was great And if you want a alcohol drink, there is a bar right next door.

Food is good, especially dinner menu. Breakfast is ok but you can tell a lot of the food is canned or frozen. Dinner menu is good and tasty. Decor is really cool. Some of the seats are ripped and run down looking and could use some repair or replacement. My issue with them I s that they tack on a 3.99% "service charge" if you use a debit or credit card to pay for your meal. I'm wondering if this is a statewide thing or maybe they only do at this restaurant. I have never been charged extra to use my debit card anywhere else in Salome?! I did not include this service charge in my tip. Nice staff, especially the breakfast ladies who seem to know most of the customers by name.

This is a small quaint establishment in a small Arizona town. The wait staff is friendly and the ambiance home town. I ordered the fried zucchini and the broccoli cheese soup. Paul had the breakfast burrito. The fried zucchini was very good, the soup... amazing! Paul had the breakfast burrito. He said it was made different. He really enjoyed the spice. We will be back for their pizza in January. If you are on the 71, stop in. I think you will enjoy it.

Stayed at the hotel and had breakfast here. Really impressed with the chicken fried steak. Great coffee (which I definitely need for the drive). What made the experience was the server. She was such a sweetheart! Next time I visit I'll definitely stop by.

    Fun decor!

Looking online it seemed this was the only place open so I wasn't expecting much still happy to go somewhere. I was pleasantly surprised. The vibe was family-friendly in the restaurant side and just had an all around comfortable feeling. I sat at the bar and was greeted by sunshine in human form. Marsha is what customer service is all about. And the BLT I got was delicious! I always stop and do the tourist thing when driving through and now I will make this gem a must do everytime. Thanks Marsha!

The pizza was just okay, but the service attitude was extremely bad I will never come again!…read moreHere's what happened: 1. The server seated us at a two-person table that was very wobbly. At the time, I didn't think much of it, but looking back, it felt intentional. 2. We arrived at 12:45 and ordered a medium-sized pizza and one Coke. After she brought the Coke and water, we waited until 1:20. I asked another server about our pizza, and she said she would let our server know. After another 8 minutes, our server came over, expressionless, placed the pizza on the stand, and walked away without saying a word. At that point, I thought maybe she was just busy, so I didn't think much of it. But when we finished eating, my husband went to the restroom, and I got up to pay. I was looking around for our server when I saw her walking straight toward me with the bill and a plastic takeout box. Without saying a word, she placed them on the table and left. It felt incredibly rude. Now I feel like she was inexplicably rude to us the entire time, and I suspect it might be racial discrimination. Either way, I will never go back to this place!

Visited 7/17/2026…read moreThere is good and bad with this one. First this place has a nice western ambience and full service bar. The staff and locals we encountered were super friendly and pleasant to chat with. The Bartender was cool and helpful answering all our questions. Not a big selection of beers on tap but they are nice and cold. The decor is nice and fun to let your eyes keep scanning the room seeing something different everywhere you look. No for the food. First don't expect anything special. It's a diner menu and could use some help in the kitchen. We tried an appetizer The Cheese Curds. They were seasoned nicely and served piping hot but not creamy and smooth. Everything is served with packaged Sauces. Unfortunately most everything was very Greasy to the touch. I had the Fish & Chips. Smallest Serving I've ever been served for a dinner. Fish was far overcooked and dry inside. Loretta had the Fried Shrimp Basket and a Side Salad. she paid extra to have onion rings instead of fries. Rings were crispy and not bad. The Shrimp was the Best thing we ordered. Cooked perfectly tender and Not Greasy. Sadly The Fries were Super Dripping in Grease. Very Limp with no crunch. Terrible Fries. Prices were not bad at today's standards. Cooking needs improvement but we liked the place and may try it again sometime. Maybe Burgers next time.

You go somewhere regularly…read more You have your drink poured by the time you get to the bar. You're in your "happy place." Your dog is living his best life, loving all the attention. One day, surprisingly, you hear rumblings about one of the owners being moderately homophobic. Noooo...that can't be true! They've always treated you kindly enough. Moving on... You spend $10 buying a tile to decorate that will get hung in the bathroom. Super gay, you paint the tile in the most rainbow fashion possible. Once you complete your tile & turn it in, the next time you come in, you're given your tile back with a note that's supposed to be from the owner, saying your tile has been ruined & they're "sorry". Amazingly...that note was written in handwriting that's not the owner but seems very similar to another bartender. If I'm wrong....please let me know. Do I get my money back? Do you ignore what happened? Do you ignore the amazingly strange occurrence re: perceived homophobic behavior? I tried to bring it up with the bartender on duty (& remedy the situation before coming to Facebook) and was told "NO WAY that could be true." This has gone from being one of my favorite places to something that brings me heartbreak At this point, it's 0/10 WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!!!! If I'm wrong, Beer Belly's, please let me know and I'll gladly update this review.
