I was actually visiting this small town for a weekend. There's actually few to no choices for places to eat here. It's not much to look at from the outside. But don't let that stop you from trying this place. First, the prices aren't too bad. But then there's the servings size. Five of us were eating. I barely finished my Al Pastor Torta (with fries). Others had burritos that were so huge...they couldn't finish them. Another friend tried a bowl dish (can't remember which one) that was way too much for him. My torta was good for sure. Everyone was very pleased with their food...so much so, they requested take out containers. So if you're on the hwy 60 going through Aguila and are hungry, I strongly suggest you give this place a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

Best Mexican food in Arizona! This place is not the least bit fancy. It's totally in the middle of nowhere, but the food is absolute heaven. I had the chicken enchiladas. I so was disappointed that we didn't have time to eat in Prescott, but we found this little hole in the wall cafe just off the 60. It was just what the doctor ordered because I was starving! I ordered the breakfast skillet and let me tell you, it was amazing! It came out sizzling hot and so fresh. This would cost twice the price in California. My husband wanted to get the biscuits and gravy but they sadly ran out. He opted for the burger and fries. Anyway, where else can you get a burger and fries for under eight bucks? He said it was good too. We had a friendly server. I wish we got her name! I liked all of the murals on the walls. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but you won't be sorry stopping here. I stopped here while doing some off roading in the mountains and was told this place was good and I'll tell you they didn't lie. We had a large group with us and I would have to say this was probably the fastest service I've ever seen and the quality of food you get for your money was amazing . I ordered the California burrito and it was good and huge an overall really good burrito. Everyone else ordered a lot of other items mostly off the breakfast menu and just amazed at the serving size definitely will be coming back here in the future. Great local restaurant with mural of Eagle Eye Mountain. Excellent food with large portions and reasonable prices. Their grilled chicken sandwich with fries is so amazing I hardly try anything else. It's a thin chicken breast perfectly grilled, served on a bun with grilled onions, avocado, jalapeno and mayo. Breakfast burrito also a good choice. Service excellent also. We were rolling through Aguila and decided to stop at the Coyotes Den for lunch. Very unassuming place with maybe six tables and 10 stools at a breakfast bar. We both ordered breakfast at 2:00pm, well, because we could. Great choice! I had the biscuit n gravy special and my lovely bride had an omelette (don't recall the name). Both choices were awesome! I recall my wife saying she may have just ate the best omelette she has ever had. And trust me, she has eaten a lot of omelettes. We did a motorcycle ride to Aguila AZ for breakfast at Coyote's Den. My first time here, and it's well worth the trip. Seating is limited but can hold 20+ people. The sole server was attentive and did a great job with our party of 14, along with the few customers already there. I ordered the Breakfast Skillet and it was perfection on a skillet. Seriously, the flavors were way more than I expected from trying similar dishes at other restaurants. Everything was on point! I will definitely go back. read more

Hard to eat all the delicious food when it has a closed sign on the door and you can see 15 people inside eating and 20 pickups with Idaho license plates parked all around it. Two other people left disappointed as a write this review out front. I was wrong on this. It was frustrating, when you are hungry for good Mexican food and you think it should be open later on a Friday night. I went back Saturday and was pleasantly surprised about the menu and the food. A lot of selection on the menu. I had a dish that I had never heard of before. I think it is the Spanish word for sandal. It was very good. The first time we ate here, we picked up breakfast burritos to go as we were traveling through Aguila. They were delicious! The eggs are scrambled with onions and peppers and the sausage was broken up so you got all the yum in every bite. We have since stopped and eaten breakfast in the restaurant several times. Everything we've ordered has been great. It's a small, old building, but it's very clean and the staff is kind and helpful. Definitely has a hometown vibe. read more

You can drive by without realizing it's there. It's most definitely "hole-in-the-wall." And not the "quaint" type...just the hole in the wall type. It is some of the best Mexican I've ever had. The Del Aquila Quesadilla had all the perfect flavors combined. Chips and salsa did not disappoint. The kids enjoyed there food and ate it all. We showed up right at 5pm and just beat the rush. Best ground beef enchiladas I have ever eaten. Excluding the ones in my own Mexican restaurant. Haha sauce was kinda thin and tasteless but the beef made up for it.
