After spending hours at the Western Museum, this watering hole was conveniently located just down the street. Service was good. Prices reasonable. Beer was cold. Bathroom clean. I liked the western motif. read more

i waited over an hour for a drink and no one could get me that. i waited patiently but after seeing multiple people who came after me getting served i asked what was wrong and the bartender told me "you can take your bitching somewhere else" highly unprofessional and i will not be returning. the bar across the street had much faster service and was much more professional. read more

If I could give a zero star review I would! As a fellow business owner I will never recommend this place to anyone. I've been to many bars and never received this bad of service. It took us 30 minutes to get 2 drinks with making contact 15 minutes into being here and she asked for our ID, but it took too long supposedly to get them out of our hands. She left and we had to move to the other side of the bar to receive our drink. I completely understand the bar was packed, but when we made contact she was just super unprofessional and walked to the other side again. Besides all the negative, the atmosphere was great and people were friendly. I'm not opposed to giving it another shot, but hopefully it will be a bartender other then Karen. read more

One of the four "main" bars in Wickenburg, one of three in "downtown" (haha) Wickenburg. La Cabana tends to be the middle child in the family of drinking establishments, often overlooked. AMBIENCE: western, semi-divey feel to it. Beautiful hardwood bar with mirror on west side of bar. Has a jukebox with country, rap/hip hop, and rock 'n' roll. Stage on the west side of bar sometimes has live music going. Patio located out front for smoking and shouting at passersby. DRINKS: more reasonably priced than say, the Mecca. A pitcher of PBR will run you 4 bucks. Not bad. They may not, however, know how to make a Harvey Wallbanger, Fish House Punch, Pink Lady or Death in the Afternoon. Think simple: gin and tonic, whiskey sour, old fashioned. GAMES AND MORE: television(s?) on the east side of the bar, currently tuned to baseball. Three pool tables dispered throughout the building. Darts and arcade-type games also available. Why I'd go here: to have a drink or two with someone, sit down and talk, maybe play a game of pool or darts. It's not usually noisy or boisterous, but can get that way on busy weekend nights. Definitely less chaotic and unorganized than the Mecca and less cowboy than Bar 7. read more

It has been over a decade and before kids that we found this town and this bar. When we stay in this town we get a hotel at the Best Western and no driving required. I have closed this bar a few times. The thing that I remember most is the eclectic music selection. I have heard Hank Williams followed by Ray Charles followed by The Clash. Some places in Arizona only play 2 kinds of music country or western. The people in Wickenburg are pretty friendly. I always have been made to feel welcome. I have met so many locals that are happy to point us to a new cool place to visit. read more
