There's a good sized local park behind it and you can easily park on the streets which are all walking distance. Besides ballerinas and dancers, you get to watch singers, group choirs, and many more colorful entertainments on the outdoor stage area. Inside stage is usually reserved for larger popular shows. Yes, dressing room and areas for practicing before performance time is well set and they're usually on time moving groups in and out as scheduled. Love the backstage area and scenes. We were guided to how to sit adults on the edge if possible so the kids can see. No flash photography. Exits and emergency exits. Once we were seated the play began. This is my first time watching a kids play and it was very fun. The play moved along had a clear plot and was enjoyable by the kids and adults alike (measuring this by how loud the laughter was). The costumes were beautiful and the stage props were colorful. The orchestra was also really cool to experience. The length of time of the play was also good at just an hour. A great way to enjoy art and get the kiddos ready for lunch or other local activities. From reading other reviews it looks like this theatre offers other activities and also performers outside of the building so that's really neat. The actors came out to take pictures at the end so that's was really neat. This is such a neat experience for kids and adults alike. Definitely a fun addition to the toddler and kids activities list!

Space is limited, so definitely get there early. You bring your own picnic blankets and food items, but they also sell some drinks and food at the concession stand, with all proceeds going directly back to the children's theatre. The play is held by a group of child actors of different ages and they all did a great job with their lines and making their whimsical jokes. The script of the play was changed to incorporate characters from other children fairytales such as red riding hood, and other new characters that I didn't recognize, but they tied it all into the main storyline of Hansel and Gretal. The play runs only for about 40 minutes with no intermission. There are porta potties conveniently located across from the garden but their actual bathroom facilities are only a 1-2 minute walk down the corridor. There is plenty of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

The line was still long when the play started. At intermission, the line again wrapped around the lobby. Not everyone got a chance to use the bathroom in the short intermission.

There's a beautiful garden with various bench for you to sit while waiting the show begins. Parking is free near the theater. The theater is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this venue.

Then she wanted to kiss a prisoner prophet who turned her down. So she had him killed and served his head on a platter. Ultimately they had her killed which was a good idea. Excellent voices and set. They are usually high quality and it's really fun to see an opera in such a small house. The Samson and Delilah we just saw didn't live up to previous operas we've been there but it was pleasant. They are creative with sets and it was a good production. The chorus needs a lot of improvement but the leads were good . There is a lovely outdoor courtyard for intermission. Ticket prices are much less than SF Opera and I admire their goal of making opera available for all.

Many restaurants, coffe shops and a few bars walking distance. The theater even sells alcoholic drinks that you can enjoy at your seat while watching the show! I went for a Mariachi concert. Sat in the balcony. If you are not tall, either sit in lower balcony or after 5th row of upper balcony. There is a pony wall that can obstruct your view.

I honestly wish I had tape recorded or at least the audio of that because he said so many amazing quotes and Mantras of life. I wish I could've repeated any of them! My brain could not process everything so quickly but goodness well played!! The seats were a bit rickety, but they were still comfortable, and the play itself was not too cold luckily for me since I'm always freezing! Lol I also had a jacket handy, just in case. Super amateur and uncomfortable…read more Dropped by here on a lark because I saw a sign advertising their production of "Cabaret" at a local restaurant and I've been meaning to see the Robert Altman film. 95% of the audience were Boomers who are probably bored out of their minds and desperate for any diversion from waiting for the sweet release of death. The other 5% were presumably friends of the cast. Basically all the actors were failure-to-launch white guys in their 30s, along with a few plus-sized Hispanic and Asian actresses. One actress was an attractive white girl, which confused me so badly that I assume she must have been somehow blackmailed into being part of the play. Nobody seemed to be having any fun, the laughter felt forced, the costumes and make-up were garish, and the playbill lacked any context for the story. I feel vaguely like I was rubbernecking the end of Western civilization, where young whites (who are a minority of young Americans) put on a half-hearted charade for their grandparents to try and maintain the illusion that the world they lived in still exists. As the Boomers pass away over the next decade, I expect all these local theater companies to shut down. The aforementioned attractive white girl and an acrobatic gay white guy seemed to actually be trying, which I appreciated, but their efforts weren't enough to salvage the play from all the others phoning it in. I'm glad I walked out a half-hour in. I wish I could get my money back. This may have permanently put me off from live theater lol.
