i have used Stanley Steemer for many years. Typically the employees have been knowledgeable and polite. Although the carpets and upholstery were cleaned, the dialogue of the two employees during the process was loud and often threaded with profanity. I was quite surprised at this because it had not been this way before. Also, I was supposed to get a txt 30 minutes prior to arrival and that did not happen either. The two men did not clean up water spillage on tile area adjacent to the carpet and did not leave the outdoor water outlet as they had found it. my carpet was terribly dirty I had it "cleaned" by some other company and it looked worse then before. Overall we are satasfied with our tile cleaning service. But, the technicians were not very detailed oriented when using the colored grout sealer. They were sloppy when applying to the joints as tho they were in a hurry. Now we must scrub our tile with a scowering pad to remove excess sealer to make the lines crisp. read more

If you want it clean this is the place to call. We have pets, kids,and a pet pig yes a pig. The kids are worse than the pig . So when it starts to get dirty we just call and they come out and clean clean clean. No up sales, and they move your stuff. There truck mounted system is tops. Two brothers, Tyler and Mason, cleaned my carpets and they did an outstanding job! I would highly recommend them to everyone. They gave me great advice as to which areas I should clean, and how we should handle the cleaning of several Oriental Rugs. Their advice included the best treatment plan, as well as recommendations on cost savings. They were very careful with all of my antiques and furniture. Truly white glove treatment all around. I have many positives and a few negatives with this company, but hopefully the negative issue will be resolved by this weekend. I had Stanley Steemer come out to clean and deodorize my carpets and a large area rug. I work full time and go to school, so during the day, my dog sometimes relieves herself on the carpet instead of the basement floor. The urine smell was pretty bad, so they came out yesterday to clean/deodorize. I also had a cat for a while who liked to use the area rug as his litter box. The appointment was between 12 and 3. The two men who arrived got here exactly at 12 and were very polite and friendly. They were very fast (which was great because I hate being stuck at home), very efficient (cleaned every square inch), and very nice to my hyperactive dog. They also gave me a card for 15% off the basement floor if I wanted to get that cleaned too. I feel bad for the people who had things stolen from them, but I had accidentally left my purse in the kitchen with cash in it, my credit/debit cards and my check books. Nothing was stolen even though they would have had every opportunity because I stayed in my bedroom. The overall price was more than the estimate, but that was because I didn't know the exact size of my area rug. Now to explain my 3.0 rating: Even with my satisfaction with the friendly, honest and quick reps, the actual cleaning and deodorizing didn't help at all. It smelled pretty bad while they were cleaning the urine out of the carpet and afterwards, the smell of their cleaner/deodorizer (which didn't smell that great either) dissipated and the urine smell was stronger than ever. At first, I thought that it was just in the air and it would go away soon, but it's still here even with the fans running full blast and the windows open. I called the company and explained my dissatisfaction, and the phone rep was also very friendly and understanding. I scheduled a new appointment for this Friday at no charge. I'm hoping this issue is resolved. If so, I will continue to use Stanley Steemer and ask for the same guys to come out every time. I've had bad experiences with almost every scheduled home appointments (repair men, cable companies, etc), but other than the smell, I am pretty happy with this company. read more
