Great service! Great Value! We dragged our feet finding someone to clean our carpets for far too long, and I finally just decided to take a chance. This was awesome. I prepped the house a little bit (20 minutes) to move pictures and small stuff. They showed up right on time (none of that 'We'll see you between 8am and 5pm' stuff, lol), and gave a courtesy call and showed up within 10 minutes of the call. They were very nice and professional when they showed up, they let the dogs sniff them and calm down so the dog wouldn't go nuts the whole time. They said would take about 2 hours and were done within an hour and a half. They seemed very careful with the couple of pieces they did have to move and then put little Styrofoam blocks under the couch / table. 4-6 hours to dry, we just left it over night. We paid extra for the deodorizer for one area, I think that was a good value also. The carpet looked awesome, I couldn't' see any spots from before and the high traffic (entry/exit) areas looked great. They also did stairs and a landing and put a little guard on the corner of the wall which was nice. They have a 2 week guarantee too, just in case any spills / spots came up. I was incredibly pleased with the service and carpet cleaning Excel did for us. My experience was a completely positive one. Starting with setting up the appointment and working with my schedule and urgency in getting carpets cleaned at a rental property we own. The owner's wife was very friendly,helpful and knowledgeable. It was easy to make an appointment. I also had done some price quoting at other cleaners, so I knew their price was very competitive. I was contacted when they would be arriving very timely and they were very prompt and on time. The gentleman who did the cleaning was very friendly and professional. He also vacuumed first, which most other companies don't always do or at least not thoroughly. He did a fantastic job and everything looked great! Got out all the spots left by tenants. They came highly recommended to me by Larry Callahan, owner of Callahan Carpet, when we purchased new carpeting for many rooms in our home. I have found Chris, the owner, and Stephanie, his wife, to be extremely friendly, professional and accommodating (much more so than most service providers). They have returned calls almost immediately if I had to leave a message, and have scheduled me very quickly in "emergency situations," i.e. the dog got sick, the dog ate a felt tip pin on my cream carpet, etc. My carpets and upholstery always look fresh and brand new when Chris finishes. Chris and Stephanie are easy to schedule with, eager to answer questions and helpful with moving heavier furniture around for me. The quality of the carpet cleaning has been excellent. I must say I always used Stanley Steamers and wasn't happy. I searched and found Excel and so excited I did. Their reviews are true. Excellent customer service! I had living room stairways and hallway done. We bought our home 2 years ago and they had 6 dogs. We cleaned them ourselves. Well.... Obviously we needed a professional. I went on line got a quote put down a small deposit chose the day and time i wanted them to come and they confirmed my choice in my email. I will absolutely do business with Excel again. They were a pleasure to work with from the moment I scheduled the appointment. Stephanie was an absolute delight, and was incredibly accommodating. We had to reschedule the appointment because of delays in moving into our new house, and they didn't bat an eye. The carpets look AMAZING. We were considering having to replace the carpets within the first 6 months of moving in, but just wanted them cleaned in the meantime. I've used Excel for about 5 years now. I have them come out 1-2 times/year. My carpet still looks great, even after 8 years of continual/hard use. Chris, the owner, always does the work himself, sometimes with a helper. He is always on-time, very friendly and courteous, dressed nicely, and does an amazing job. I wouldn't use anyone else! The techs were friendly, efficient, quick and professional. They explained everything clearly and did a fine job. The couch they cleaned had mouse droppings, mildew, dirt and dust from 30 years or more of use. Since the condition was so bad, they had to come out twice. Excel took tile that had not been sealed, nor cleaned since it was installed in 2005 and made it look brand new! I thought the grout was black, but it is a beautiful ivory. I highly recommend Excel for yur carpet and tile cleaning! read more
