In and hour and a half total time he quickly found and adjusted the issue that the major dealership neglected to find after several over night visits. He explained what the dealership did not finish and the car was running great again. He explained other potential culprits to look out for , and said he was a phone call away if I needed further help. I did not need additional help bc he solved the problem & did it in record time !!! Chi gave it a head-to-toe examination and made a prioritized list of recommendations, including costs. I agreed on the ones needed to have the car pass inspection, and Chi did a great job with those. He accommodated my schedule and there was no wasted time. He started the job at the appointed time and got it done promptly. There were no unpleasant surprises. He stuck to his estimates and did excellent work. I will be taking the car back to get the other work done soon and for all future maintenance. Chi runs a clean well-appointed shop. He's honest, up-front and personable. His prices are fair and I was impressed by how efficiently he rounded up the parts for my oddball car and the care he took to explain the repairs. I also checked out his stock of tires and he has a really smart selection at very competitive prices so I'll be buying my next set there. UPDATE: When I was ready for new tires I researched online trying to find a set with rugged sidewalls. The few models I found were not available locally or not available in the size I needed. Had a pretty disastrous experience with Savage and would strongly recommend taking your car…read moreanywhere else. Three main problems: 1. Completely non-communicative. Never called me a single time, I had to chase them down constantly for updates and information. 2. Rude and inconsistent. One person told me one thing on the phone one day. Said he would send me information, but never did. When I called back the next day I spoke to someone else (the owner, I think) who was extremely rude, claimed that the person before hadn't said what they said, and vaguely threatened me. It was beyond bizarre to be called a liar when I was just repeating back what I had been told by one of his employees the day before. When I told him I had another person (a man) who had been on speakerphone and could corroborate everything I was saying, he got slightly less rude to me, but the whole thing was really terrible and insulting. 3. When it was time to pay them, they texted me a picture of an invoice, with no way for me to pay it. I had, of course, to call back the next day and give them my cc over the phone. And then, when I picked the car up, the guy ringing me up was like, "Hm, I can't tell how much you paid." Wtf?? They seem to have fixed the issue with my car, but honestly, I think I would have done better to trade it in than to deal with weeks of trying to work with Savage Hybrid shop.

Savage Hybrid replaced the hybrid battery pack in my 2007 Prius one year ago. The battery recently…read morebegan showing problems indicating a bad battery, so I brought it back to them. The initial assessment was a problem with the battery pack, and other problems including the catalytic converter. They called two days later with great news the problem was only with the battery pack, and there was no charge! They could have easily charged me an additional several hundred dollars, but instead they chose honesty and integrity. My advice: Don't even think about taking your hybrid anywhere else!
