I recently had a very disappointing experience at this dental clinic. In 2022, I had dental bonding done on my front teeth. I returned in 2024 (a few weeks ago) to have this bonding repaired. I paid both times. Unfortunately, the real issue arose three days after my last appointment when the composite on my front tooth turned brown. Naturally, I returned to the clinic to have it fixed, expecting a professional and understanding response. To my dismay, not only was I told that the discoloration wasn't their fault, but I was also informed that I would have to pay for the repair. The interaction with their clinical team was far from professional. One individual, in particular, was aggressively rude and unprofessional. He became loud and highly inappropriate for any clinical setting. He also made sure to bump into my shoulder when leaving! I haven't seen him there before. He was a taller guy with tattoos and a chain (I didn't catch his name). When I requested to speak with the main dentist (Dr. Stansell) who had performed the work, my request was flatly refused. I left the clinic shocked and frusturated. This was highly concerning as I had to wait two weeks for my appointment to see her to do the repair!! I am sharing my experience to warn others. It's important to know the kind of service and treatment you will receive here. I believe in fair and transparent practices, and unfortunately, this clinic does not meet those standards. I lost a front tooth filling so I made an appointment with Stansell Dentistry in Brier Creek. Kelsey answered, and she was so nice, helpful and friendly, and within minutes I had an appointment for the next day with Dr. Mandala. Today I went to my appointment and, from the front staff to the wonderfully sweet nurse/assistant? Michaela to Dr. Mandala himself, everyone was friendly, professional, and made me feel so comfortable that, for the first time in years at a Dentist's office, I forgot to shake and tremble with terror.. Dr. Mandala took care of my filling in 10 minutes, tops. No anesthesia, no numbing agents, nothing! And I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort! He is calm, friendly and so good at his job that I was surprised when he said he was finished.. I kept waiting for the pain to begin, but it never did. When I looked in the mirror -then and now- I can't tell there's a filling in my front tooth..! I have been coming to Stansell Dentistry for a few years and I have to give a huge thank you to this practice. For someone who dislikes dental checkups, this practice has made my visits more comfortable and less painful and stressful. Cat and Stephanie are two of the best dental hygienists I have ever encountered and their positive energy, empathy, and level of care exceeds all other hygienists I have had. They are phenomenal individuals who truly care about there patients. It shows!! And I can't thank them enough for caring for me. And also thank you to the front desk staff who always greet me with a smile and caring disposition. The dr and dental hygienists we extremely knowledgeable and amazing! They were all so nice. When I went for my cleaning, my dental hygienist offered to play pandora or Netflix and pick anything I wanted to listen to and she gave me headphones (that had ear covers on them) to listen while she was cleaning my teeth. She was so sweet, I wish I could remember her name. Both the dental hygienist and the main dr are OCD about teeth (in their own words). They found some cement on my front tooth from braces I had 10 years ago and they got it off. I have seen 3 other dentists since I had my braces off and they never said anything about it. She noticed the cement right away and asked if I had braces and then took it right off! I almost feel like a new woman! Haha. Definitely recommend. read more

Love Dr. Stansell and all the staff at Stansell Dentistry. I've been going to Dr. Stansell since she opened her practice and would never consider going anywhere else. In fact, she might be the only dentist I've been to every 6 months like you're supposed to. I've never enjoyed the dentist, but never dread my visits with Stansell. She is very thorough and will see things that others may miss. It may just be something she notes and keeps an eye on or something that requires action. If it requires action you can rest assured that's what necessary - never unnecessary services. (I've been to one of THOSE dentists before) If you're looking for a new dentist, and even if you aren't, you should absolutely try Stansell Dentistry. You won't regret it! read more

I was recommended Stansell Dentistry by a friend 3 years ago and have not been disappointed! She described it to me like this: "Remember that episode of Grey's Anatomy where the surgeons found the dermatology floor and started hanging out there for its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere? This place is like that." Stansell has helped me with regular cleanings and wisdom teeth extraction (by laser nontheless!) and I've enjoyed each appointment. During my appointments they even let me watch Netflix or listen to Pandora to distract me if I'm interested. She makes me feel right at home and always explains everything to me in detail. She encourages me to continue to improve on my habits and let's me know when I'm doing a good job as well as what areas I need to work on . Our family has been with Stansell dentistry for years more than 10 years now because we have enjoyed them so much, but this week was exceptional. Tuesday my son twisted his tooth so we had to finally exit our neighborhood into covid land. It was our first indoor experience. Everyone was so patient with our entire family. And, they were able to clean four family member's teeth, advise without cost on the twisted tooth, and seal my daughter's teeth. read more

My wife and I have been coming to Stansell for a year now. We've had multiple Cleanings, a new Crown and a upper teeth guard. I have never been disappointed.
