I came in to return an Amazon package and asked for assistance. The assistant manager was rude, dismissive, and gave me an unnecessary attitude. I might expect that behavior from an hourly employee having a bad day--but not from an assistant manager. Leadership should set the standard for customer service, not undermine it. Store is well laid out with friendly, efficient staff. If you can't fInd something, ask. They will help you. I'm a member of the rewards program and I bring my used ink carrridges here for recycling. When I get my new ink here - and they do price match online or locally - I get $2 back in rewards for each recycled cartridge. I also get coupons via email to save even more on ink and other office supplies. Recently our home phone was disconnected. I've tried unsuccessfully to change the phone number associated with my Staples account online. Today, Tracy changed it for me - fast, friendly, and efficient. I am never disappointed when I come here in person to do my business. This location has multiple ways to get into and out of the parking area from 2 busy streets. Double charged my Debit Card over a week ago, and still has not refunded my card after 3 trips to the store location with bank statement proof of the error. An employee named Peter was extremely rude and argued with me even after I provided proof via bank statement. AS A BUSINESS OWNER I WILL NEVER SHOP AT STAPLES AGAIN!! I stopped in here to pick up some school supplies for a teacher friend of mine. I wanted to get her some college ruled paper. WHY can't I find the 200 sheet pack that I used to get when I was in school? All I can seem to find are 120 or 175 sheets? WTH people? Where's the consistency? Where are the ream packs? NO BUENO! THe store had some good deals on Sharpie markers and white board markers so I picked those up as well! My friend was very happy with what I provided her, and Staples helped make that possible. read more

I placed an order on Staples one month ago for some sanitizing wipes. Due to the current world circumstances, I am stuck at a second home. When the wipes were about to ship, I changed the shipping address to where I would actually be. This is allowed by the website with a simple drop down in the account app. Turns out this does not change anything it just cancels the order. No warning just canceled. If you need to buy a computer, consider going anywhere but staples. The warranty time here is a joke. I bought a laptop here in June, and already had 3 issues with it that prompted me to call HP in the first 2 months. This past week, I called HP and they told me that I need a new hardware in the computer and to send it in. I went in to staples to see if they could do anything to help with a product that should be working fine since it is so new. They told me they could not help at all or offer store credit to return the laptop, because it is past the 14 day warranty. This is a ridiculous short warranty time and staples does not look out for the customer. FYI Costco has a 90 warranty period no questions asked. read more

I am so irritated with this store. I saw a computer online that was used but looked good. A friend suggested I call the store. I called Chuck was a great help. He said the refurbished computers were great and if I wanted to come by he could help me make the best choice. Yay Chuck! I arrived as Chuck was going home. I did not think it would take that long to get there. He said Joe would take care of me. I told Joe what I wanted. Joe said the refurbished computers suck. That I would only be wasting my money. I respect honestly but the guy was so negative. Even when I asked him to help me find a new one, he was so negative like a vampire sucking the life from me. As I was leaving I told the customer service person how frustrated I was because I drove a half an hour to get there. She got the manager. He was nice enough guy but still, i drove a half hour in the sun to get so depressed by the down employee. read more

I had the best customer service today at the Staples on the corner of Curlew and US19. I went in to print some important/urgent medical documents from a flash drive. When I asked if I could do that on the self-service computer the associate behind the counter asked if I could wait just a few minutes that I could save myself the fee for using the computer and he would print the documents from his computer. Then when I went to pay, he gave me the documents on the house in exchange for reviewing their current sales flyer for the print and copy center. I only printed 7 black and white pages, but still he saved me some money (and best of all time and effort). Additionally, throughout the store I was greeted and offered assistance, and just in general made to feel very welcome. I used to feel that Staples and Office Depot were all the same, but this particular Staples store set themselves apart and earned a loyal customer this morning. read more

Placed my order online and paid the extra $5 for the rush feature because i needed it by tonight. All I need was some copies of 7 images cut 4x4. I put that in the instructions. When I got the email to go pick them up I went there and the guy had cut the images but not 4x4. He said you never put it in there to cut it 4x4 and I said ya I did and he pulled up the notes to show me and sure enough, he say, oops sorry, give me a minute. So he said since I didn't send it to him 4x4 that he needs to charge me more and charge me $12 on top of that to cut them. Then he said it would be better if I cut them myself and that since its extra to put them 4x4 sized himself (which I already asked him to do and paid for in my order) we will just call it a wash and he won't charge me more. I said that makes no sense and he handed me 14 sheets of colored copies. My understanding is that it's 30 cents a colored copy and I had to pay for a rush and I had to cut them my self. It cost me $14.38 for 14 colored copies sheets. This isn't the first time Ive had problems with this store, but it is my last. I sent the same email to Office Depot and it was a completely opposite experience. I now we be driving further to Office Depot in Palm Harbor and suggest you do the same. read more
