Walked up at 10 minutes before they closed for only two quick Amazon returns and the associate or manager very rudely closed the gate in my face. First time ever coming to this location as it is the closest to my home but will be going out of my way to other locations or shopping and doing Amazon business elsewhere. I haven't been into Staples in years. What a chaotic-cluttered store. The clearance area just had stuff dumped on shelves without prices. There were displays that were pushed up against other shelves so you couldn't get you to items. Couldn't find any employees so I had to wander around until I found what I needed BUT it was $2 more than advertised on the shelf (item #961135). read more

I have been using Staples for years for my business product, and this store has the worst customer service I have ever seen at a Staples. I came in the door and didn't get acknowledged at the printing station for 3-5 minutes. I was the only one in line. The Manager then told me it is express pay or I have to come back. Staples, you lost my business and I have spent a 100's of thousands in you store. Management at this store definitely need retraining. It would have took 2 minutes to print the material. Called for some assistance. I asked if they sent certified mail? The lady said she had to go check. She came back and said she thinks so. I said it's very important it gets sent certified, are you sure? She said I'm going to assume so. I asked her if she knew what certified mail was and she said no....I said I'll take it somewhere else but I have another question..how much does it cost to scan there? She said it depends on how many pages. I asked how much per page and she said she didn't know. I asked how much it would cost to scan 100 pages and she gave me quote of $125.00 (forget the exact amount, 220 something dollars) if I came and picked them up. I said I don't need to pick anything up, I need to bring documents and scan them to an email, she said she didn't know. I thanked her for her help and hung up. TERRIBLE customer service! So I ordered 50 envelopes through Staples online to be delivered in store because that seemed feasible and financially sound, even though the store was 20 mins away from me, I wanted to make that drive to save the money. Anyways we make it to the store because I got the confirmation of my package arriving there, Michele tried to assist us but couldn't find the package, it was okay because she tried her hardest. Mr.Alexander (the manager, I apologize for not knowing your name) then stepped in to try and assist in finding our package. He literally searched forever, called the warehouse, found who signed for it but with no luck couldn't get in touch with the employee. In the end, we found a product that would take the place of the one we ordered and he honored the value we had purchased the original price at. He was amazing and the only reason I rated this transaction so high...KEEP IT UP!! read more

After visiting the print to department to assist me with printing one document from my jinn drive before meeting due to my printer having technical issues the staff here was scarce, and then when I was in front of a member of staff they more just wanted to brush me off and acted as if I was more of a bother to them. So many employees, so little assistance. All I needed was to find laminating sheets in a hurry since I'm fighting a migraine. One gal was helping a man with a printer, so I approached her so I could ask her for help. She completely ignored me. I just briskly walked around aimlessly looking, I asked a gal at the printing department and she directed me to Isle 17...which was literally the Isle in front of where I was just ignored. On top of that, two people standing around with thumbs up their butt as I stood in line while the cashier was having trouble figuring out the price for an external hard drive. Finally, the person whom ignored me earlier was told to open another register. Never coming here, ever. read more

I came in today to get an SSD and when I approached the register, the employee had to get a manager to bring out the actual SSD from their lock up. She called on the radio once and we waited a bit, called a second time and still nobody shows up. After waiting about 15 minutes, a manager finally decides to show up. I tried paying with a $100 bill but the cashier needed change to break it and called for a manager, can you guess what happened next? We were waiting on the managers yet again. I ended up giving her a $50 instead because I was sick of how long these managers were taking and of course, THEN a manager shows up. If I could give negative stars for this store location, I absolutely would!! I happened to see this Staples location while on my way to a different appointment & thought I'd save myself a trip. I called to ensure they offered spiral binding and was assured it was, although there would be a slight feefor doing the binding while I was in the store. So far so good. Get to the store, head in to the copy center where two employees have their backs to the counter with no apparent intention of looking around or being of service. When I placed my bag on the counter, it bumped a display and I was finally noticed. Explain what I would like & am told again about the additional fee. Fine, no problem....about how long will this take? Am told about 15 minutes so I ask for the location of the bathroom and let them know I'll be back in 15 or so minutes. Let me mention that the woman behind the counter, although apparently listening to the man talking with me, at no time said anything about needing paperwork although she did make sure he said something about the extra fee. So...I meander the store for over twenty minutes before returning to the copy center to retrieve my item. Here I am finally acknowledged by the female behind the counter as she brings me a form to sign. As I pick up the pen I notice she has walked away and I then see my pages - UNBOUND- so ask incredulously, "is that not done yet?!?" I am informed that "I needed paperwork and you just walked away!" I reiterated that I had been told of the time the job would take, that I had said I would return after that time, but that at NO time had she EVER said anything about any necessary paperwork. At that point I told her to just give me my pages so I could take them to Office Depot, where I now plan to do my office shopping forevermore. I will not pay anything for rudeness or this level of surly incompetence. Buh bye!! read more

I purchased a laptop from Staples on 2/26/2016 from the Centennial location. The first salesman, after listening to my needs, showed me plenty of laptops - but every one was out of my price range. And when another customer came up, he left me to wander the computers. Thankfully Joe, one of the supervisors came to my rescue. Joe was the only positive experience of this entire process. He listened to what I needed, suggested many options in my price range, and above all was patient. He is a gem at this company. Whenever you need help, find Joe! With all that said, the online process was less than impressive. Three days after my purchase the online order information was not there. It kept returning my order information as "we could not match your order to the information provided". After contacting the online customer service assistance, I was told it was processed but they could not get me a tracking number. I finally got the tracking number the same day the laptop was supposed to be delivered. And I only got it because I emailed customer service again. Also, the survey expired before the laptop was delivered. So I couldn't take the survey! Frustrating, Staples, very frustrating. read more

Disappointed with their customer service. I went in to ask about different printing options for my wedding invitations. The answers I received were short and they were not willing to print me a sample (despite me willing to pay the $1 just to see how it would look). I was told my pdf had a poor resolution even though she barely glanced at it. Basically made me feel like my order couldn't be helped or bothered with. I went to the nearest Office Depot in town right after and they were so helpful with my order. The resolution was fine, they willingly printed samples, and I placed my large order through them. read more

Nice clean store but no employees to ask a location of what I want. No one in tech area or in back at furniture area. Two people in copy area but were occupied and one nice cashier, also occupied. There have been multiple times that I have visited this location and have been let down by their lack of service and inability to adapt to new technology. So many employees with so little knowledge of how to print something as simple as flyers! I was told they can't print JPGS and I needed to go in to their self-service computer (for .35 per minute mind you) to print it and then they could make copies. If you need something done fast and efficiently DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Just want to say, I enjoy this location. The employees are usually joyful and helpful when I can nail one down. Like with all retail/shopping, I don't try to go in when I'm in a rush, cause they could be busy and I give myself PLENTY of time to finish projects. On a side note, I had a fun time reading the previous reviews. You can almost tell whose seriously had a retail job in their past. Most are good reviews, but the couple bad ones were riddled with personal problems or strict requests that were not fulfilled. You never know, the employee that rubbed you the wrong way may be on their 15th day without a day off, stressing about rent and food on the table. Or that they had a pile taller then you of work to do before you came in with your strict deadline, and someone may of pushed and even bigger task with a stricter deadline on them before you came. Sorry, I'm just ranting now. :p But just keep in mind, Customer Service means servicing a customer's needs, NOT serving the customer. There is a difference. At 4:30 in the afternoon, I brought it 42 pieces of paper art to be scanned and emailed to me. I was not in a hurry but I did make it known that I would like them to be completed that night before closing at 9:00. The lady quoted me 1-2 hours. About 20 minutes later, I received a call from a different employee requesting that I pick my pieces up the next day at noon in order to provide the evening employee more leeway in case she had a lot of walk-ins. I told him that I would like to have the job finished before closing and to have her call me whenever she was done. At 8:00, no one had called. I called the store at 8:15 and was put on hold repeatedly for around 10 minutes before I was told by the Copy & Print Center employee that she had scanned them but had not emailed them and would have someone email them first thing in the morning. I found this unacceptable. The next morning, I received two emails from Staples that had large advertisements in the body of the email so I thought they were spam. I went to pick up my art and the nice gentleman (Dave, the only good aspect of this experience) handed me my pieces and said I was good to go, not charging me. He told me to scroll to the bottom of the emails to see photo attachments. They were in two PDF files. I was able to view them but was unable to open them with editing software. The quality was terrible. Black and white illustrations were speckled. Colored illustrations were washed out and missing some colors. The majority of the illustrations were missing the edges. I had to send these files to someone else to separate each picture so I could use them individually. The quality of these scans was unacceptable. Period. I have had quick and pleasant service at other office supply chains who provided me with excellent quality scans. All in all, this seemed like they rushed the job and didn't care about the outcome of the job. I also think it is an unfortunate policy that walk-in customers with rush jobs who come in at the last minute take precedent over a customer who had provided plenty of time and patience for a project. read more

Wanted to post my experience with this staples. Drove the hour and a half so that I could replace my laptop with a new one. Once I got to the store I had several questions about two different models but the staff member couldn't even tell me the processor speeds, colors, features, not a thing for either model so that I could make an educated choice I finally got frustrated and picked one. Wish I would have had some questions answered because I feel that I got the wrong model and am unhappy with it. Next level of frustration is I let the staff member sell me a copy of Microsoft office, which I needed, however I asked several times if it required an internet connection to use to which he assured me that office was already installed on the new laptop and all that was needed was to input an unlock key, I was surprised by this and asked several more times that it did NOT require internet access as I explained to the staff member that I lived in an area that does NOT have internet available. Drive the house and a half home, later that evening finally unpack the laptop, charge it, start the set up process, go to put in my office key and guess what. it DOES require an internet connection as the program is NOT installed on the laptop and has to be downloaded from the internet. At this point I'm ready to pull my hair out and beyond frustrated and feel taken advantage of for believing this staff member. Now, I figure what the heck, lets listen to some music on the laptop to just mellow out and figure out where and what I can do at this point. So, transfer some music to the laptop from my mp3 player and BAM, no sound from the laptop. Says it can not find an music device or drivers on the laptop. So now what? This location was very unorganized. They seemed to be short staff and had employees working in sections that they had no idea what or how to do anything. Not to mention there were two older employees standing around and talking to each other while the two younger employees ran around trying to figure things out. I ordered business cards online so i wouldn't have to wait in line forever. This was supposed to be simple and convenient. But it was not. Do not recommend going to this location. read more
