I'm a Mac guy but wanted to build a gaming PC for my son. Put it all together and it would not start up. I dragged the chassis in and plopped it on their counter. 30 seconds later it was booting. One of the very best customer experiences I've ever had. I was up here a couple of years ago helping my parents downsize and had a complicated migration issue from an old and obsolete machine. The staff spent the time diagnosing the problem and walking me through the options. Late in the game we got a curveball. No attitude, just solutions. Yeah Great, they gave you a break, good for you. well I took my laptop to them, they ran the diagnostics, and yes they found the problem. It would have been a $279 fix. My laptop, which is a decent one, was only $365 brand new...hmmmm, three quarters of what I paid for a new one. I eventuall y said no, and yes I was still charged the diagnostic. Fixed my noisy laptop which had a dying fan. Tried cleaning first and when that didn't work, replaced the fan, All for one price! Very reasonable and fair! I like to support other local business and I'm glad I did. Much more personal service than I think I would have got from a big box store which may have steered me to a new laptop (not in my budget right now)! In fact, I had talked to a big box at the same time and they were already hinting that a new laptop would be a safer bet.
