Completely disorganized .. no signage and not well advised .. seemed like I was being ignored and it is not clear where you stand and why someone else gets picked ahead of you. The lady working there saw me as I could not find the QR code so she said I needed to print my label .. I went to a printer only one free and realized I didn't have my credit card. Went back to car and sat there and found the QR code through Wayfair and stood there and waited over five minutes. Maybe an extra staff member every time I go it's crazy busy today it was at 3:00pm. My review is zero (O). For Staples computer service. And for a lack of response when I emailed the store manager, and his supervisors. For this I give Staples executives a minus 10 !!!!! Never, never, never sign up for the "Home Plan" through this store. The service technicians are liars. They did not give me any documentation to support their service, nor any documentation as to what the Home Plan service agreement entails. All I received was a Staples Home Plan store receipt. They (the technicians) did not fix my computer. They did not scan my computer for viruses. They did not clean and update my computer. They only did the cleaning and installed the virus protection after I brought the computer back to the store to voice my concern that nothing had been done. Then they downloaded files to my external hard drive (ehd). That was after I brought everything home, checked the "ehd" and found nothing was on it. It was a blank. I took my computer and external hard drive back to the store. There is more I could share but I have already shared it with the non-responsive management at Staples. I think they may have all died, or left their employment....? After their week long executive conference in Niagara Falls....? All Staples did was sell me a plan for over 270 + $ plan (with tax) for a Norton antivirus program worth less than 30 dollars. Is this fraud? And why did I never receive a response from the store manager, Mark Martinell, nor from his supervisors, Peter Watanabe nor from CEO Rachel Huckle? Great leadership! Not. Ignore your customers, and especially those with legitimate concerns. The only email address that bounced back was from Rachel, and that was only because I typed in the incorrect email address. I don't know if it is the place i can ask for information. On November the 12/2024 I dropped off a return to Amazon Had a QR code and everything seemed to be OK .Did not get any recede to confirm my parcel was dropped off , so I considered that's the procedure . My refund from Amazon should have be processed in 5 to 7 days .I contacted Amazon and was told that there is no return ...no parcel ... What I'm trying to ask Staples to check were my parcel got stock and deliver it to Amazon . I purchased a package of cartridges for my printer in Cambridge but, unfortunately, they were the incorrect ones. I was in Kitchener three days later, doing some business, and since I was in the area of Staples at the Strasburg, decided to return it there. The "customer service" mature lady met me and immediately told me I couldn't return it because "it had been opened. I showed her the the little piece of scotch tape, still on the package was put on to secure the receipt when I purchased it. She began to argue with me and basically accused me of trying to return something that had been opened. As I attempted to explain, the lady became aggressive and turned away from me. I asked for a manager. A woman approached me, saying she was. My attempts to explain my situation to her resulted in her putting her hands on her hips and became defensive. She told me not to speak to HER staff and admittedly, I was getting quite frustrated. I suggested she should consider a different position while I took my cartridges and receipt and left the store and while leaving she she called loudly at me, telling me "I'm a pleasant person" (her) I was insulted and completely embarrassed by this experience. Solution? I went to the Cambridge store and the customer took my return and apologized for the Strasburg store. She couldn't explain the problem with the two women at Strasburg. I'll never return to Strasburg Staples. They should be dismissed! read more

This location of Staples is the nearest office supply store to my home. I come here regularly for business supplies but not so much for technology, since the prices aren't that great. I used to use their price match promotion all the time, but since January 15th of 2012, their price match policies have changed. They no longer beat the lowest price by 10%, they will only match the price, and they will not price match anything that "states "limited quantities", "clearance", "close-outs", "bankruptcies" or special events (e.g. Boxing Day)." It seems like any time I try to use the price match they will use any excuse not to give it to me (see rules above) whereas they didn't have any trouble matching the prices before on the same items. I came here to make copies and to get my Permanent Residence photos taken. Shyanne was working in the Print & Marketing Department and had the patience of a saint! They were busy and she was the only person working but she was so kind and helpful, even when we had to re-take my photo. Only reason I'm not giving this store 5 stores is because they were obviously understaffed. (There IS a hiring sign outside so apparently they are trying to solve the problem.) :) read more

Do not use their copy centre for business needs if you require a receipt. Most of the machines were jammed or not warmed up. The machine I used stopped working after printing about 90 copies and then wouldn't give me my receipt (needed in order to be reimbursed). The manager couldn't get it to print either and told me they can't retrieve it from their systems for several hours but would e-mail me my receipt. It's been well over a week and I never got an e-mail and therefore had to pay for my work's copies. Sadly the copy centre used to be better staffed and has obviously been gutted beyond use. read more
