I will never enter this location again. Upon being watched and seemingly kept under security watch, I addressed my immediate frustration with the security guard who I saw pass me 3 times within 5 minutes. When I addressed her that I had seen her and felt like I was being prifiled she had not one word to sat to me! Disgusted. Everyone is not a thief! Your company should definitely invest in a customer service course for your security. I own my error in accidentally leaving my ID (driver's lic.) on the copier, and I am grateful to whoever turned it into the staff. Speaking of, two hours after I left the store is when I realized I left it. I called and spoke to a young woman in the copy department who, after placing me on hold for a few minutes, said she did not see my ID nor had anyone turned it in. For three hours, I sat in my class worried and stressed out about my CDL. I came to the store after my class and met the lady who repeated that no ID was found. Then advised me to "Check with the manager because we have to turn in items like that, to them." Yet she had Never asked the manager? Who was a few feet, a phone call, an intercom away? Of course the manager had my CDL and again, I am grateful to the good Samaritan and manager, but the unnecessary stress I experienced due to a lack of common sense and/or laziness is inexcusable. If I could give this place zero stars..I would. I came here to print ONE thing. Took 3 hours to print ONE thing. There are staff that don't know what they are doing and the line is ridiculous. They need to hire people that know exactly what they are doing. If you have 3 hours to spare with nothing to do, by all means. But if you are in a hurry, DON'T EVEN BOTHER. FedEx is faster than this. Great Service and assistance from Nelson with his help with self copying machines. I had great help at this incredible Staples store. The staff person, Nelson, was so helpful as I fumbled to understand how to use the self service machine. I love this Staples! It is always open to my convenience, the staff is always kind and professional and I always get the best instructions and "how to " from this Staples. Don't ever come to this staples if you need to print, ship or anything of its relevance. The girl working at the print station has a horrible attitude and doesn't like to help anyone, when asked for help she doesn't help at all. There was an older lady next to me in need of assistance as well & she did not help her at all & she left just as pissed as I was. This store is horrible, don't come here. The people (except for the security guy) and the environment was nice. I entered the store with my friend and the creepy security guy right away goes behind us to see what we were touching. I ignore that situation because why to worry on something non important. We kept walking to the art supplies and he was there again following us and looking at us with a look that made us feel nasty. We went to the folder section and he went behind us pretending to talk to one of ther workers. We went to the cashier and he went that way and again pretended to talk the cashier. My first time in a Staples store was yesterday. And first time purchasing graphing paper ever. I walked around and couldn't find graphing paper or a worker to help . When I went to the register to ask where it was I was pointed in a vague direction . I couldn't find it still . Went back to the front desk to ask if someone could just take me to it . The kids working there were a bit unprofessional. When someone went to show me he loudly complained, "I already told her where it was bro." Rolled his little eyes and walked off . He walked fast ahead of me . By the time I caught up he handed me a pack of graphing paper which was where he said it was . But his directions weren't too clear and I have vision issues . I apologized for mistaking his directions but they were not clear to me . He tried to argue so I just walked off and didn't ask for any other help because it seems like the staff rather not or they have better things to do besides help customers while on the clock .7 read more

I came in to buy a canon printer and it was not in stock. I didn't mind them ordering it for a store pickup. They said it would take 1-2 business days. I never got a call or email, I had to go there myself and ask if it had arrived on the 4th day. I get there and the wrong printer had been sent and the manager was clueless and did nothing about it, so I got a refund. Instead of the manager handling the situation, he left it up to the cashier to resolve it which is just plain out horrible service. I got a refund and am on my way to Best Buy where I've had great customer service. read more

This is my neighborhood location so I visit often. I'm so grateful for employees like "Cameron". He is always busy helping 3-4 customers at once and never complains. I usually come in here to shop and print documents, but the workers really need to work on their attitudes and how they service customers. It was a young security guard she was polite as I entered the store and there was a young lady that was trying to help me resolve my problem I believe her name was Khashia. There's a girl with red braids that sat and didn't help those in line, she had her mask off like it was the thing to do and then the guy with neck braids named Brandon that wanted to get smart when I was meaning to ask for a bag to put my documents in.. he too kept taking his mask off.... It's a shame that this is a local Staples but I will go to another one so I don't have to deal with people like that. Learn how to talk to people. Learn how to work under pressure. First I go to this location because of the customer service! Especially in the SELF SERVICE print area. ( I also find all my other office supple needs here, always)The staff is always helpful and patient with me. Although I try to be prepared when I arrive, they always assist me with specials or suggestions. They call me if they think I might not be happy with my order to make sure I will be satisfied. If you have to use the copy print center or mail/ups service make sure you bring your patience. I waited almost 1 hr just to send out a UPS package. The guy that originally helped me walked away leaving me hanging like 3 times they had a long line almost to the door and only 2 people working behind the desk. Do not use the Copy Center to laminate any items. I took plans into the store and gave the clerk specific instructions. The clerk gave a pick up time of 2pm on Sunday. Their clocks must have been off because when I returned around 4pm, they had not even begun the order. The laminated map was wrinkled and uneven. The request was to copy the documents and laminate them. Instead, the originals were laminated. If the store put someone in the Copy Center who actually knows what they are doing, they would have a lot more people satisfied with the work. You should be fine with self service copying, but don't go there for anything else. read more

On Tuesday 23rd of March @11:00am. I arrived at the store at 11:00 am. Overall store performance it's need of new management , the store only have one associate on the floor in the print and copy department. (I was informed it was a call off, so with that being said a manager or someone should have been assisting Jacqueline. )I've been acknowledged by the one associate 15 minutes later, I've been waiting in line for 35 minutes and I'm just now getting assistance. The manager didn't help until after 4 people started waiting in line. One guy came from the back and assistant the next customer and not the customer in the front. At 11:39 am the Lady ask if I needed assistance. They need better management . They have no customer service or customer urgency. The staples team members waited 20 mins to help the one lady in the prints and copy department. She had over 6 people in her area that she was assisting alone and nobody came to help her until 40 mins later. No teamwork until after the matter. The security young African American male at the time did an amazing job with directing the customers and only allowing a certain amount of people in due to Covid restrictions. He was attentive and helpful. The cashier at the print and copy department did an amazing job and had a lot of patience with the customer is the only reason why I am giving 3 stars. I never take great parking in LA for granted, so this Staples couldnt be better on that level. And the store seems well stocked as well. But if youre planning to use their print services, you kinda should lower your expectations. I placed a few online orders via Staples.com, and when I went to pick them up they were wrong... and trust me, the simple instructions I gave with my online order weren't that complicated. Which means that more than once, I had to wait while they re-printed my order. I'm not saying their workers aren't polite, maybe they're just undertrained or something. And to there credit, they DID fix everything properly when I asked them to. The morale of the story? Don't leave the store without closely checking whatever documents you just had printed, otherwise you might need to drive back. But at least they will fix them promptly, which was helpful. read more

I can't find a rating for a minus zero. This is absolutely the worst business I've ever dealt with. I mean every single area, but specifically the print and copy service. They are always busy and seem to be always understaffed. Your experience is comparable to being in line of DMV and equally unprofessional -- whenever they decide to service you. When there appears to be enough staff, they seem to be struggling with each tasks before them and act like giving you, the customer, prompt service is a bother. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROPER TECHNICAL TRAINING IS SO DEFICIENT, and the printing staff needs to be locked in a room with machinery, rather than dealing with business owners and the general public. I have patronized this business since opening my business in Los Angeles 2 years ago and without fail, each and every order has been wrong. I have ordered everything from business cards, brochures, notecards, banners, flyers or just plain copying and each order has been messed up by Staples print staff. I have had to wait 5-7 days for same day cards, been told my order was lost in the computer, my account was saved under another person's name and of course, they keep telling me they change computer systems every 2 months and they lose all the previous stored data so I have to start over each time. Most recently, one of of their Associates named Brianna decided to change my brochure detail without my permission, change the quality of paper and then was going to hold another order of notecards (prepaid) ransome because I requested to have my brochures printed exactly as it was sent to them. Only after I placed a phone call to Corporate did I get a resolution to my ongoing nightmare of calamities with this Staples location. There is much, much more... Needless to say I will not deal with this location again. The management is no better and he did not provide me with the assistance I needed whenever I have patronized this store location. Nor is he willing to provide professional courtesy to elderly clients. Management has an attitude rather than listening and providing diplomatic solutions. Serious, systemic problems prevail in this store. STAPLES, reevaluate this store, management on down and give this community the professional training and business etiquette we deserve. read more

I have been shopping at this store for many years. Our small business depends on our printer for our day to day functions. On March 30,2015 I bought a Brother MFC-9340CD printer & a toner cartridge for $470.00 AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION!! We used the printer for 4 months, it started smelling like an elecrical fire, so we unplugged it & stopped using it. Today I went to the same Staples that i purchased the product to Exchange/Return the Printer(due to the fire hazard)but i was told otherwise by a sarcastic Manager. He said" Sorry sir, our return policy is 14 days. if you didn't want it, you had time to bring it back. I said, "What about the 1 year warranty? He said,"Sorry, I cannot do anything for you here". He grinned a big smile & gave me a 1-800 number to call the Manufacturer. I said, " I used this printer for 4 months, how was i supposed to know it was sold defective". I go there simply because it's convenient, but this is the most disorganuzed inefficient establishment I've encountered in a very long time. Yesterday, there was at keast 9 people waiting in line with only one cashier who was having difficulties completing the transaction. Although the manager was aware of the issue, he did absolutely nothing for 10 minutes while the single cashier struggled. The line did not move. I have been coming to this local staples for a great amount of time now and I must say it is always clean, organized, and a great atmosphere just in general. The thing that I love most is its equal diversity, and this makes me proud to support local businesses. The front women cashiers are normally always helpful with great customer service skills. A recent event that happened to me yesterday really helped me to grow liking with the store and it was the wonderful customer service that the manager Daniel showed me. He was very professional and when I had been waiting a short amount of time for his assistance he assured me that I was a valued customer and that he was sorry for the wait. I will definitely always pick this staples to shop over any other office supply store! I would have given this store a 5 star but I think that it needs to improve in its printing area, maybe more employees in that area? Because it's very hard to get help there if you need it. Worst service ever!!! I came here to mail out something priority since the post office that was inside the mall is no longer there. This was the closest one and I have been here for about 40 minutes. They make you enter your own information in their community computer and then just leave you alone. I was ok waiting for the first ten minutes because there was someone in front of me but the remainder half an hour is ridiculous. Knowing this I will not be coming back here and mind you I am here at 1pm during a weekday it's not that busy but there seems to be no one that cares about customer service here. Terrible experience.
