Well, my friend Jenny's laptop and iPad were no longer charging and 3 places couldn't fix them. However, one place recommended MY TECH WORLD. I met her there Tuesday afternoon for her dropping off her devices and hopefully, they could be fixed. Pascal, who is the owner was extremely kind, technically savvy and reasonably priced and told her they were fixable. She picked everything up today and every problem was solved perfectly!!! Well, this gem is a mile from my home and I couldn't be happier to know that "help" is sooo close. Parking lot holds many cars so double yay! This morning I woke up to a locked iPhone and was not able to unlock it on my own. Pascal did everything possible to get my phone up and running again, but to no avail. I spilled half a mug of coffee w. milk on my Mac M1 Pro work laptop. I was panicked thinking it was fried. As soon as MyTechWorld opened, I called and spoke to Paskal who quickly cleaned my laptop and let me know what the damage was. He explained prior to the cleaning the possibilities + costs (motherboard replacements, keyboard, etc.). DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! RECEIPT PROOF ATTACHED I got my phone screen replaced here on Friday 5/3/2024. (three days ago). Paskal took my phone to the back where I could not see him and worked on my phone. After he fixed my screen, my phone started to get extremely hot when charging it. In addition, the battery percentage would only go up about 2 percent every 10 minutes with the original apple usb-c charger. If i was using my phone while on the charger, the battery percentage would just stay the same and not go up. I called Paskal to ask him what happened and why my phone is suddenly getting hot and not charging right after my appointment with him. He claimed he did not touch my battery but I believe he stole my Original iPhone battery and replaced it with an aftermarket battery. He told me that I could stop by the store so "I stop crying". I don't know any business owner that speaks to their customers in this manner, especially when I was just asking questions. Please DO NOT COME HERE. After spending $220 to repair my phone, I left with an even more broken phone. Also, the new screen he put on my iPhone 13 pro is terrible and does not show colors correctly. I wish I could give more stars! Paskal is my hero! I had slammed my phone in my trunk and raced to T mobile trying to make it before closing. I made it at 9:02 and they were totally shut down. I was so nervous to spend a night alone with my baby phoneless. I was crying and pulled over into the shopping center where My Tech world is. I looked at the store and saw it was closed but wanted to read the hours on the window-- (it had closed at 6 pm)-- I got back into my car and almost right after a man came out. I was extremely worried because I had midterms coming up and had completed half of one. I had not backed up my iCloud so i was fearful i would lose all my grad school work for the past 2 years.
