This location really should be shut down. Go to the other Norwalk location. There is ALWAYS a problem in this store ALWAYS. Furthermore the Indian lady was basically trying to force an extended warranty on me. Was not taking no fir an answer. How many times does one need to say no? This is not the first time I walked out at this specific location leaving all the items on the counter. New Milford store is excellent. This one should close completely. read more

I bought an office chair Christmas time. 5 weeks later the arm came off. Broken plastic. I saved my receipt just in case. Call The Norwalk store where I bought it. Avoid the copy center. 2nd time I went in 2 months. 2nd time I left aggravated.. I called this morning, they confirmed my order was received. Got email saying it was ready. Went to pick up, order was lost. I went behind the counter to look myself. They pass the buck & blame the morning guy, etc. Please, it isn't rocket science folks. Figure it out! YOU'RE A 1 WHILE YOUR PEERS ARE A 10. NOTE: The main store is just fine. And like Sandra B., I appreciate the quiet, clean atmosphere. Zero problems there. HOWEVER. I've gone to this location twice in the past year to use their copy center, both times out of pure necessity. I use many retail copy locations in my line of work and while it's often a frustrating/costly experience, this Staples takes the cake. Is it too much to expect their copy staff to (a) know how to use the printers/copiers on-site (b) have basic computer skills and (c) not visibly hate their jobs? How can I meet two different staff teams six-months apart that share these same deficiencies? I don't understand how these places get a pass. Go ahead and gouge me on price per print, but unless you're at a massive copy center (some Fex Ex/Kinko's locations are fantastic), it's all shades of the same terrible experience. Is it an employee issue? Training issue? Store management issue? All three? /shrug. They need to change their staffing model to staff one technical/maintenance person and one register/special projects person per shift. Every standard color/BW printer should be self service (both USB and PC terminals). And every staffer should have some level of access to office productivity software (being forced to convert everything to PDF creates issues with final rendering, particularly in how shadows are treated). There are better optoins in the Norwalk/Wilton area. read more

One star is being kind. I bought a $50 fountain pen on sale at $20. I needed to return it, unfortunately I lost the receipt. Expecting store credit for the current $20 sale price I was told by the manager that he could only give me $5.32 for the pen because somewhere in the country someone had once sold it for that price. Naturally, he couldn't tell me where or when, I just had to take his word for it. Seems a silly position for a corporation to take; selling $50 pens for $5.32 but dissatisfying a customer over $15. It does help explain their stock price though. read more

In defense of the coy and print department, I work at this location and am a copy and print expert which we are trained to be. We have many customers that prefer or store over the other Norwalk locations and will drive across town just to come to us. And as far as supplies most of the time we have ours in Stock. As well as some high volume orders that would normally be sent out we do in store to get it to a customer at a shorter time because when it's sent out it doesn't get back to us any where from 5-10 business days. read more

I had a complicated time sensitive order including large banners and an 8 page program for a fund raising banquet. Emelly Echevarria was dilligent, patient and helpful. She went above and beyond to get the job done and that included re-organizing the pages for us. She had a line of customers and was incredible under the pressure. I highly recommend this Staples location for all of your business printing needs. I have been using Staples on and off for years and Emelly is the only copy center supervisor that has ever stood out to me. I am a sales and marketing executive and notice these things. read more

We have been to the store at least over 10 times within the last three months. Our requests have been primarily mailing simple packages. Almost every time we go, the printers do not work, there is no one to help us print labels out, and essentially it's self-service operation. The employees are just there to service you as a cashier, and nothin else. We don't recommend you going to the store for any needs other than purchasing goods. read more

The worst copy center on t he planet. Very incompetent and it's been this way for 20 years. (I dso a lot of printing. I'm a graphic artist) Only one out of 15 jobs are done right. They can't scan properly, print on envelopes and a lot of other things....They also don't check jobs to make sure they are done rights. read more
