Nothing at all wrong with this staples. We had a free passport photo made here in 2024 and got some of my favorite pens. We have done a couple of Amazon returns at this location as well. The returns used to be to the right near the printing center but today they were up near customer service. Nice sales some days! Procter & gamble sale today but I don't need that poison lol. i just want to say that i needed to order some business cards since i got my real estate license. the first time my picture didn't turn out right and was blurry even though it wasn't that way on the proof so i had to redo them. the second time i ordered but forgot to put one statement in that made it where i couldn't use them. i had already picked them up at this point. i ended up ordering a third time and asking if they'd exchange since i made a small mistake. Erika was SO nice and let me exchange them. I walked in this morning and was surprised how the lay out is. You have to walk through all the non-office supplies just to get to the aisles that sell the real stuff that matters. Then I got to the aisles. They were all practically bare. I went up and down each aisle, passing SEVERAL employees, before I had to stop someone and ask for assistance. I asked where the planners were. He grunted, walked away, and found a manager to ask where they were. Apparently they are putting things in more organized fashion all at the same time, not an aisle at a time. So everything is in the back storage room, in bins, and I should "Come back another time, or later tonight". Really? Um, no. No one asked, "Well what is it that you are looking for exactly? Maybe I can see if it is accessible to grab for you to purchase today." Horrible, HORRIBLE customer service really. It doesn't get any worse than that, unless you said it with a really nasty tone. Called to ask if they do price match because I order paper for the office I work at and wanted to stay loyal to Staples because we've ordered from them for many years. The lady gave me attitude because I pressed the wrong ext number. She transferred me to the right guy after being rude for absolutely no reason. The guy told me that the only way they do price match is if it's the same exact product and brand so I told him what I was calling about and he said "I've never even heard of that brand I don't think we have it" so I'm like looking at my computer screen at work and I said "oh okay you don't have it at that location" and he was like "no actually I don't think we have it in store or online." I lost 2 hours for nothing I prefer next time pay professional people to come back here in this store The girl who helped me didn't know that if all this didn't save the decoration we made for the cards, it would be lost. In the end, all the decoration we made was lost and I was told to come back tomorrow to do it again. He kicked me out of the store and asked me to pay him extra for decoration. I find it remarkable that Staples takes your used printer cartridges promising a $2.50 rebate per cartridge then doesn't advise you that you need to buy more ink from them even though the amount of ink in the cartridge is substantially less than what the manufacturer HP sends you on their automated refill system. The manager admitted they don't advise people of this policy unless asked and that their store ink is less volume than the HP direct cartridges. To add insult to injury I bought my printers at staples. So I'll take my business $ to Amazon for printers and ink. Since Staples no longer provides the basics without mischief this ends it. Staple 3 drawer vertical file cabinet (the one with the small drawer at the top) is a piece of junk. Item #: 2806666 | Model #: 52144 or similar. Piece of junk. As soon as I filled it with files (and NOT jammed full) the drawers came off the slides and would not open or close properly. read more

The staff is always helpful and able to find exactly what I am looking for. The printer/copier staff is a little slow and appears understaffed but they are courteous and seem to be doing the best job they can. Remember, they price match. Their prices are higher on everything so make sure you shop around online if you're going to buy here to make sure you're getting the best price. read more

I came to this store one evening and ended up coming back the next day to get several more clearance items like the one I had purchased the day before. I went to the Port Charlotte store today, I was looking for 20 big faces, if you have never seen them, they are a 12 x 18 face taken from a picture, with a stick attached to the back, to use as a mask. When I went in I wasn't sure how to begin or how they were made, Jamie in the Marketing department knew just what I wanted, he worked with me to get to a price I could afford, by making suggestions and showing me how they would look. I left the store "VERY" pleased. Later, Jamie called me and explained that the picture I chose may not be the best quality after it was enlarged, he made a couple other suggestions, I returned home for several other pictures, returned to the store and Jamie helped me make a better selection. Jamie worked patiently and politely with me till I understood, he never made me feel like I was stupid or that he was to busy to be answering all my silly questions. I highly recommend that you ask for Jamie if you have any business with the Prints and Marketing Department. read more

I was there yesterday to get two photos enlarged to 24" by 36" posters. The lady who assisted me was pleasant and knowledgeable about what I wanted. After the first one was done she came out and asked me if I wanted the second or to cancel it as she thought the first one was a little off. It was of a mountainside in Greece with a distant view of a monument. I thought it came through exactly as I had seen it. Both turned out perfect. I am thinking of coming back to get another one done as these turned out so well. read more

I was transferred to the Copy Center by someone at the mainline and waited 10 minutes on the phone without anyone picking up. I don't think I was transferred to the right line. I called again and this time chose a different option which brought me immediately to the Copy Center, rep picked up immediately. The rep was not helpful or knowledgeable, I had to prod to find out if Staples had provided a particular service I needed, she did not know and asked me to come in. I told her I was half an hour away and was not coming in to find out that Staples did not provide the needed service, silence on the other end. I told her I would hold while she found out. She asked me to call back in a few minutes, it would have been good customer service to just take my name and number and return my call with the answer I needed. After all that, I found out they didn't even have what I needed, I would have wasted a full hour round trip had I done what the rep at the Copy Center wanted.
