I entered the Staples store in Spring Hill, Florida close to 7 pm, its closing time. I didn't realize the time. Anyway, I needed some prints made from my email. The process of printing from your email off your cell phone takes about 5 minutes or less, but I didn't know what I was doing, of course! There was a lady with brunette hair that works there who was hovering near me and she very nicely asked me if I needed some help? I realized the time and was like, Do I need to leave since you close at 7 pm? And she was like, No, you already started and I can help you get this rolling! That was so cool. I said, Of course, I need help and let's get going. She helped me through the whole process and my 13 prints came out perfectly in no time. She even closed it out for me and walked me to the door. She said, Have a good night! And, I said, You, too! :) What an awesome place. I didn't get her name, but she knows who she is and I Thank You, Ma'am, for being such an Awesome person for helping me complete my job! I had numerous returns from Amazon. Nick was just the best! I knew the line behind me was building but his patients and consideration that Amazon decided to return each item separately was such a relief for me. Pens and post-its and office chairs - oh my! Going to the office supply store during adulthood is on another level. I've never been so excited about pens and less excited about the cost of an office chair, but I digress. This Staples is exactly what you would imagine if you were from Spring Hill. A little dated but still has a plethora of necessities for your office space. Walking in we were greeted by a very friendly employee. They have a massive printing service area that looks like it could take care of the majority, if not all, of your printing needs. Not only do they have office supplies but they also have a small area of home goods such as cleaning supplies snacks and water as well. We came to Staples in search of a comfortable home office chair. They have a very large selection! I found the perfect one but ran into a bit of an issue along the way. I picked one of the Lazy Boy chairs and was so excited to ask for some help getting one as I didn't see a box on the sales floor. I was perfectly fine with purchasing the floor model if they didn't have it in stock. Unfortunately, I was told that they could not sell me the floor model, even if it was the last one in stock. They did offer to order me one to the store but I need this for Monday and it wouldn't have been here for another week. At this point, I'm sure I had absolute defeat on my face. The gentleman helping me offered to see if they had a different color in stock. Not only did he make my day by going out of his way to make sure I had a chair but he threw me a bit of a discount for the inconvenience. I went in here today and said hello to the Cashier as I made my way to the Copy Center, he was very nice and said hello back..I had something I needed copied, 25 to be exact and asked the clerks to copy them for me, I was pointed over to the machines self serve. Proceeded to try and get this done...they do not take cash, have to come over and put a code in...I wanted black and white and they had to come over again and then I went to do the job and it would not work..I left...the few times they had to come over and set up this self service, they could have copied my 25 copies at the counter...customer service has gone out the door, it really has...I had no intention of spending 15 minutes in this store and walking out without what i came in to do...seriously take the extra step to make your customer happy....bring back your old fashioned customer service.. self service is not an option for me here or anywhere... read more

I am new to the area and have used the Staples located on Commercial Way in Spring Hill on a regular basis. The store is always clean and well stocked. Everyone in the store is very knowledgeable and helpful. But I need to send a HUGE shout out to Noah! He is all about delivering outstanding customer service! I just had a very disappointing experience at the Staples store at 4210 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL 34606. I was given a $50 gift card by a friend to buy things for my classroom. There is not a Staples in my county so I drove 40 minutes to the closest one. Before I went in I checked the balance of the card by calling the number on the back of the card and they assured me there was $50 on the card and there'd be no problem using it. I went in, got my items, went to check out and it wouldn't accept the card. The young man at the register was very nice and tried to manually enter the info and it still wouldn't accept it. I told him that I had just called the number on the back and they told me it had $50. He called the manager who came over and tried. Still no luck and he said he got a message to call the president! I thought he was joking but no, he said he had to call the president, not the number on the card! He called his number and no one answered. He told me he was sorry, he couldn't take the card, that there was nothing he could do. So I expressed my dissatisfaction and left, to drive 40 minutes back home empty handed. On the way I called the number on the back of the card again. The service representative again looked it up and assured me there was $50 on it. If you were thinking of doing your holiday shopping at the Staples this year, you may want to read this first: After being a loyal Staples customer for years and spending thousands of dollars buying computers, computer programs, cameras, office supplies, you get the picture, I bought a Toshiba laptop computer. The Toshiba laptop never worked right from the day I got it, and after 28 days, it was DOA back at the Staples. Think I got the good customer service? Think again. The Toshiba was only guaranteed for two weeks by Staples: a little thing the people who work for Staples forgot to tell me. For Staples to repair my laptop, it would cost approximately $300. Got a problem, take it up with Toshiba. After spending hours over a period of days on the phone with Toshiba, I finally got a Toshiba representative to send a box to mail my laptop for $25 for shipping to Toshiba for repairs. The $25 box may take 24 days to get to me. What the laptop repairs will cost me, the Toshiba representatives could not tell me. And, get this, the Toshiba representative said he was sorry for the delay, Toshiba was down with a virus. I'm a very patient person, HOWEVER I HAVE REALLY HAD IT WITH STAPLES AND TOSHIBA. I hate the Toshiba laptop I bought from the Staples. It broke the first month I bought it and Staples only guarantees the new laptops they sell for two weeks. I had to pay $25 to send the laptop back to Toshiba for repair. It still doesn't work right. I have to tap the touch pad five times to make the cursor move, the keys stick, and it jumps around when I haven't touched any of the keys.
