Upon arriving, the building is clean as ever. Opening the door to the office, there's atleast 8 seats with a flat screen TV playing movies. Each room has a TV playing the same throughout the whole office which I found really cool. The receptionist are all very polite and they're Filipino! Once they saw my last name, they knew I was Filipino and I told them I'm half. They liked that. The dental assistant Rosie is an adorable filipina lady that examined and x rayed my teeth with this state of the art machine that you bite down and it swirls around your head as it takes images. Pretty cool. The doctor was extremely polite and introduced himself and went over my concerns and asked if I have any questions before we start. I told him about my back molar being sensitive but it went away about 3 weeks ago. He told me what he could do but not to worry about it but if it gives me pain, they'll take care of me. He cleaned my teeth so damn good. I looked at the before and after pictures and it was a huge huge difference. No cavities!! So that was good. I just really liked Rosie. We were joking about me going to the Philippines and how I've never been because I'd fall in love with 5 Filipino women and come back broke. She started laughing . All in all I'd give them 100/100. They were amazing. Everything was organized and the cleaning gave me no pain at all but I can take a lot as I have a pretty high tolerance. Can't say enough good things about this place. I learned to take good reviews on this platform with a grain of salt. He is preying on vulnerable Medi-Cal Dental patients that do not know any better and/or do not have the means to get better treatment. My experience was single-handedly the cause of anguish, depression, severe anxiety, and much independent research. Dr. Bhangu did not go over my treatment plan and only told me I had many cavities and that I needed a full mouth restoration, asked if I had any questions, and then referred me to a prosthodontist while giving me very little time to process my results. He didn't even explain what a full mouth restoration was he told me to look it up. He didn't go over my X-rays or what I could be doing better. He was also judgmental and made passive remarks like "Do you snack all day?" "Do you sip on soda all day?" without even getting to know my situation. I felt like he was preying on my insecurities after I had told him I hadn't been to the dentist in years. I looked up the prosthodontist he recommended, to which has very little reviews and the reviews they did have were terrible where patients claimed this prosthodontist shaved their teeth unnecessarily and charged an arm and a leg for these services. To further my research into getting good dental care I bought an independent insurance plan and went to another dentist for a second opinion and they examined me with new modern equipment, retook my exams, and did a comprehensive oral examination and told me I didn't need to see a prosthodontist and my situation was not as severe as I had originally thought. This dentist actually took her time explaining what was going on in my mouth, what all my treatment options were, and she was soooo kind and gentle. Basically the opposite of my experience at Robinhood Dental. Beware of this dentist.

Unfortunately, the front office has been consistently disorganized. Billing information has been unclear and communicated late. I was told about an outstanding balance months after the services were done, and the payment links I needed were either sent incorrectly or didn't work. Despite multiple calls to the office and the third‑party company, I wasn't able to get the issue resolved before my appointment. The office later called around the time of my scheduled visit, but it appeared to be only to confirm whether I was still coming, not to help fix the payment problem. There have also been moments where payment conversations were handled loudly in the small waiting area, which felt unprofessional and a couple of times when I have came into the office, I noticed that the front office staff would be all huddled close to each other from what it looked like gossiping, and when they seen that I'd walked in they would I'll move their chairs back to their desk or when another person I knew went to her visit. She noticed the same thing, but that time they didn't stop gossiping they had her wait there until they were done in their little whispering huddle to check her in.
