That kind of emotional attunement is rare. On top of that, she is so gentle, so thorough, and so genuinely invested in her patients. She took the time to educate me throughout my entire cleaning -- giving me helpful tips on the best toothbrushes to use and explaining everything as she went. She never rushes. She truly cares, and it shows in every single thing she does. Dr. Gray is nothing short of amazing. His compassion radiates -- you can feel how much he loves his patients the moment he walks in the room. It's not something he has to say; it's written all over him. I have been with Image Dental for years now, and the experience has been amazing. It's not just the work that they do, but the way that they make each person feel important, valuable, and supported. Today I had some work done that required numbing shots in multiple places. Dr. Grae was great. He made me feel comfortable and calm. I did not even feel the shots! PLUS, he's a good singer and serenades his patients as he works. Dr. Grae and Mandi made the experience fun rather than stressful. They explained every step in advance so I never sat wondering what would come next, and at the end of the procedure, they both took extra time to make sure that everything felt right. Mandi stayed behind to answer my questions and give me advice --and this is the experience I have had every single time I have been in. Very clean facility but the dentist (I believe Dr Nozaki) was condescending. He asked me to assess pain level for each tooth he worked on. Over the course of a couple minutes as I calmly gave him pain level for each tooth, he became frustrated and abruptly demanded that I needed to "start being honest" with him. I was extremely confused and confirmed with him that I was in fact being honest re the pain levels. I am a grown woman and a mother yet this man spoke to me as if I were a child stealing cookies from a cookie jar. He didnt say it in a joking or endearing manner, he was downright rude about it. Maybe he was having an off day or something but he didnt even care to apologize. This happened a couple years ago, had been meaning to write a review. Anyhow, I never went back and found a way better dentist who is compassionate all around and doesnt immediately question the integrity of their patients. read more

This is my first time going to this office. I actually found out about Image Dental through searching for a better dentist on Yelp. After reading through their positive reviews, I wanted to try them out. First impression, I was impressed with how everything is modernized, from the modern tools they have (3D imaging, laser cleaning, etc) to everything electronic-based. All forms that we need to sign were digitalized and done via email and text. No more paper clutters, that's a plus for me! It was great meeting Dr. Nozaki. He was very thorough and detailed when explaining any concerns or issues that he had when reviewing my x-ray chart of my teeth. And he gave me different options that I can choose for treatment. I like that he never pressured me or try to sell me on anything. After his expert consultation, and whatever I have decided to do for my treatment plan, he respected it. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and approachable; it was so easy for me to ask him any questions. I felt heard because he took the time to listen to me. Also, the staff team like Stephanie and Yolanda, they were superb as well! Stephanie was very meticulous when cleaning my teeth. She took her time and did not rush her job and also made sure I was okay and comfortable during the whole cleaning procedure. I think she's now my favorite person! After everything was done, Yolanda helped me set up my upcoming appointments, and she was very thorough on explaining what my insurance covers for my treatment plan and if I have any questions. Make sure the million text they send don't get your appointment canceled... I had a disappointing experience at Image Dental in Stockton, CA. Not only did they make me pay for a cleaning upfront, and then told me to come back because they "didn't have time" but also canceled my next appointment the day before. When I arrived for my second appointment, they were extremely rude and the hygienist was rough and made my gums bleed, I had to ask her to stop using a water drill multiple times. The day before my next appointment they canceled it because apparently, they couldn't get ahold of me via text(one text was sent on a Monday morning at 8:19/ when I was getting to my kids to school) they had also messaged from multiple numbers and the texts became white noise. Funny enough, they didn't even require text communication for the first appointment(rescheduled first appointment)! This inconsistency and lack of professionalism left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

There may be a lot of good reviews and I'm not going to discredit those people because I'm glad THEY had a great experience and are happy with the service. Instead, I implore you to filter these reviews to the bad ones first and read the very in depth reviews from people like me that were also unfortunate enough to deal with the unpleasant side of this dental office. I'm not going to go into as much detail as they did but while reading please remember the name, Lisa, and any time they mention the "office staff" because that's my biggest complaint. These women seem nice but are very condescending, and that desk by the bathroom they gave Lisa, the office manager, has gone to her head entirely and makes her think she can talk to customers any way she pleases. I'm not going to go into the numerous times that this office has ruined dental experiences for me but if you get anything from my review when you think of ImageDental think, expensive, entitled, and borderline mediocre. I've been let down by them numerous times and the final straw that left me in tears and extremely frustrated resulted in a dismissal letter from none other than miss Lisa herself. I hope she didn't get any satisfaction from writing a letter that I didn't need. I will never be back. Everyone I meet for the rest of my days will hear about my experiences here, and I'm sure I'll get a snotty response to this review about how terrible I AM because that's what they do. First things first front desk persons are nice and friendly and they have free pacman arcade and free massage chair which my husband enjoyed while waiting for me. We see Robin for our cleanings, and I recently saw a new girl (I can't remember her name) and she was great as well. The staff is also always extremely friendly Every time I'm there. My son had his wisdom teeth removed with their oral surgeon last year and he did an amazing job As well. I was super nervous as any mom would be, especially since I couldn't be inside with him, but we all know how they heal is how well of a job was done. After the first 4-6 hours my son did beautifully. Great over the phone, at the front desk, with the tech, and the dentist was super nice as well. I am from out of town and had a filling come out. A friend from work recommended this place and said his whole family goes here. They got me in within just a few days and they took care of the exam, x-rays and the filling procedure all in 1 visit which I very much appreciated.
