Dr. Gotamco was by far my best dentist experience ever!!! I am super afraid of the dentist, always have been. He and his staff were very attentive to this and continued to ask me throughout the 4+ hour procedure if I had pain. Sometimes they could tell right away and helped me through it immediately. I am very grateful for the way I was treated (considering being drilled on) and would highly recommend this dentist to anyone. Thanks a lot Dr and crewoh yeah did I mention how beautiful the office is. Not just the office, but when you walk in to a dentist office and use their restroom how often do you see such beauty ? I mean this says a lot about a business when their restroom and office look like a model home!!!! Update 8/10/20 after having a broke tooth and going elsewhere I found the crown they did was not fitted correctly and was too big. Now there is food and who knows what else inside it and will have to also be redone later when I have pain or possiblly a $4,000 tooth implant once it starts to bother me but other issues unrelated to this Dr will have to be addressed first. My experience at this office with Dr. Gotamco and his staff was wonderful. The office is beautifully decorated and has very nice high tech equipment including a tooth cam that the dentist uses to show you your teeth from inside your mouth. I had a toothache that day I called their office and they accommodated me right away. Dr. Gotamco is very gentle, when he injected me the anesthesia I didn't feel the pain I didn't even know it was done. Unlike the one I have been before him they did a lousy job. This was my first visit with doctor Gotamco. I recently changed health insurance and did the research looking at different pediatric dentist locally which also did general dentistry since I was looking for my wife and self. One of the things that I pay attention for is punctual appointment times. If they say my appointment is at 330 I expect my appointment to start a little bit after not 15,20, or 30 min after the appointment time. Dr Gotamco's staff was fine my son was brought in at 337 so it was acceptable to me. I think what helped was that I brought all our information and new patient forms earlier that morning. This always helps by the way. Over all Doctor Gotamco was great he took the time to understand our concerns or question about my sons visit which means a lot to any parent and never showed or made it feel like he was rushed or trying to get us in and out. Awesome! The dental assistant did also a great job very caring and made sure my son was comfortable by asking him what movie he wanted to watch while she settled him for doctor Gotamco. I came to this dental office for cleaning twice couple years ago but when i told them that im moving to a different clinic i was charged with $100 copay. I thought cleaning was supposed to preventative procedure which was covered by my insurance. They're service is okay i just don't like it when they try to rip you off! Had my first appointment with Dr. Gotamco a couple nights ago, and I was greatly impressed. Front staff was very friendly, as well as the RDA who cleaned my teeth. It's been a while since I've seen a dentist, but his practice utilizes, what seems to be, very updated equipment in the world of dentistry. What initially drew me to his practice was his hours of operation. The hours are very accommodating to those who work Mon-Fri, 9-5. Dr. Gotamco himself was a delight. He is very personable, professional, and highly informative when explaining the state of your teeth and what his treatment plan(s) will be. The care you receive from him and his staff is quality. Thorough and not rushed. My appt finished at 7:15pm (the office closed at 7pm), but not once did I feel he was trying to hurry the dental exam. When he was finished with me, he started working on another patient, who I believe was a drop in. As I was checking out and making an appt for my follow-up visit, the lady that helped me was very kind and answered all my questions regarding pricing, payments/insurance, scheduling, etc. The system they've got here is very organized and works really well. I have work to be done in a couple of weeks, so we'll see how things go, but so far, we're off to a great start! read more

Had side conversations while I was sitting there with their tools in my mouth totally not paying attention to what they were doing to me. I had a truly unpleasant experience this evening. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment. The receptionist escorted me to the back room. I waited about 20 minutes before the doctor arrived. Which was fine due to me arriving early. The doctor enters and applies the numbing medication. The Doctor leaves and I wait for approximately 30 minutes until one of the assistants comes and informs me the doctor will be a few minutes. I ask how long will a few minutes be. She stated the doctor didn't state. I informed the assistant I had to be somewhere at a certain time which was a hour and 15 minutes passed my scheduled appointment time. She went and conferred with the doctor who then stated I would not be done by the time I need to leave. I then asked for my options and essentially was told I would need to reschedule. I then asked what am I suppose to do about my mouth being numbed. She was surprised the numbing had already taken placed and said, "well you'll be numb for a few hours". read more

I love Dr. Gatamco's practice. He is thorough and knowledgeable. I always feel well cared for. The office is new, and includes digital x-rays. Digital x-rays are faster and more comfortable for me, since the traditional plastic mouth pieces hurt. Highly recommended- and open Saturdays! read more

If I could rate this experience as a negative I would. I made the appointment two weeks prior. Wrote it in my calendar showed up for the appointment 20 mins early to fill out any paper work as this was my first visit. I walked in the office wasn't greeted by the staff behind the counter. I filled out the sign sheet still not recognized by the staff behind the counter. Sat down for 25 mins finally I was approached by staff behind counter and was given the wrong name of Tyler. Staff didn't bother to look at sign in sheet. Staff looked confused as I said my name was not Tyler. Then staff stated my appointment was another week away and if I didn't get a confirmation then was implied I was wrong. At that point I went to the counter and told them if they were this unorganized then I did not want any part of their practice. Very scary Dr very scary. read more

I've been a patient here for some time now, although they have horrible time management skills. The doctor is great, although don't be surprised if you receive several reminders prior to your appointment confirming your appointment time. Reminding you to not be late! Only to arrive early and be told there is going to be a 40+ minute wait. For some reason, if an "emergency" arises that they have to handle causing a delay in the whole days remaining schedule, nobody can reach out to the patients with appointments that will now be pushed back. When I brought this up to the doctor he scolded me and tried to make me feel like a POS because I even said she something. All I said is that it would be nice if the secretary called people to let them know their appointment had been pushed back and hour! ‍ read more

I have two challenges with dental treatments, one is with dental materials/chemical sensitivities the other is fear of dental work in general but in Dr. Gotamco's office those fears are set aside. The staff are sincerely concerned with helping the patient feel comfortable. They really listen to what you are saying and offer helpful information. Dr. Gotamco is the best dentist that I have seen and I have been to several over the years. He takes his time to answer questions and listen to the patient's hopes for the outcome as well as fears of the process. It is too soon to say if I will be able to keep the filling, that is between my body and whether or not there is a reaction to the dental materials but that has nothing to do with the care and treatment that I received from the doctor which was excellent. I had a tramatic experience- when a "Dental Group" pulled my back teeth, I bled continuosly, for 12hrs. I fainted once, do to the excessive bleeding, Had to go to the ER. I was seen by Dr. Gotamco and then referred to a specialist because I had a tooth that he wasn't sure about and wanted to have a 2nd opinion. I loved the fact that he was so vigilant about the tooth and wanted to make sure I received the upmost care even if that meant sending me to the specialist and having work done elsewhere. Anyhoo, the verdict on the tooth was it needed to be removed and so I was sent back to Dr. Gotamco for that. Let me tell you how caring and gentle this Dr. is!!! He numbed me up so well before he gave me the novocaine and I have NEVER had a Dr. take that time to make sure I didn't feel the shot. I did NOT feel the shots at all and that was the best feeling to know that Dr. Gotamco did that for me and I am sure for everyone. Also, after the tooth extraction and the numbing wore off I had almost NO pain! I am not sure if there was anything special that he did but I had manageable pain and no swelling at all on my gums or to my outer jaw, nothing. On and another thing, after your x-rays are taken he actually takes the time to explain to you on how to read your x-ray and you know exactly what you are looking at and the areas of infection, etc... and that was really neat because I had never known prior to this on how to view my x-ray and understand what I was looking at. It is hard to find a dentist that I trust. After avoiding dentists for many years I finally had to go see one because of pain. Previously, I was turned off with dentists because when I really needed one the young dentist I saw at a group dental practice at trinity parkway plaza did not have the respect for my condition when talking to me. In fact, that dentist took a large frame off the wall, put it on my legs and in short put me down with my peridontal disease. Dr. Gotamco was referred to me by my kid's dentist and I am so glad. I was in pain with swollen/bleeding gums, halotosis and very discouraged. Dr. Gotamco has wonderful tact when explaining my situation and his treatment shows his experience. Consequently, I was almost to the point of losing some of my teeth (some wiggled). I had peridontal disease. I was placed on antiboitics, recieved a prescribed mouth wash (peridex) and I recieved deep cleaning and a followup after 3 months. It is amazing, after the first deep cleaning/appointment I had no halotosis or bleeding gums. I was very faithful in following his prescriptions and advice about flossing and brushing my teeth~anytime I ate anything. Now after my 3 month follow-up I am so satisfied and without a shadow of a doubt recommend Dr. Gotamco. Kudos for tact, respect, experience and treatment. -Vic S. read more
