I like to tip the people that work and do my nails, because they do great work, but I can't do that when the full price with tip included is the actual price I'm paying now (without tip). It's unfair to new and old clients. I have come 1 time every month for a set of acrylics for the past 6/7 months... i didn't mind whatever price they gave me until today when i paid over $70 for a new set of acrylics.....

On another visit, the technician I was booked with took a different customer and told me to "wait a little while," which turned into more than an hour. My most recent fill was poorly done where a chunk of the filler broke off, and they admitted it wasn't applied strongly enough, yet still charged me again to fix it. They didn't file my nails, and the polish has been peeling quickly after each visit. When I asked for a simple polish refresh (not gel), they quoted me $30, even though other salons charge around $12 and I brought my own polish. After years of loyalty, I'm moving to TN Nails instead. Save your money because the service at Alpha Nail Spa is no longer worth the price.
