Nail quality was poor, and prices fluctuated. I was quoted $45 for a fill-in and $5 for a broken nail but was charged $60. The V Shape French Tip was uneven, with a lumpy base and sloppy polish. I will return to Bliss Nail Salon instead. read more

My first experience was amazing they were friendly and my nails lasted a month, which is the only reason why I left a one star. When I went back to get them re done the vibes were completely different 5/2. The guy that did my nails he was okay my nails were okay I wanted to do a design on them but after seeing how they looked I just kept them natural. Literally the next day I noticed I had alot of over flow of product and that the base of my nails looked thin. My acrylic started to chip away after three days.I finally had the time to get them fixed the next Friday 5/9 I called the lady to make sure that they could she advise yes. When I got there I told them what was wrong, she sat me down and I waited for abt 20 minutes she finally came over to she asked my when I got nails done, who did them, and what color. I advise her last Friday not sure who did nails or color. She looked at them and told me it's bc I'm hard on my hands I told I type so my job has not impact on my nails really. She left came back otp talking on speaker to family/friends she re asked me the questions abt three times finally the actual person who's doing my nails came by starts to file my nails he asked me the same question again I gave him the same answer they said that it was normal for my nails to be chipping after a week. I explained I got acrylic my first set that I got from there lasted a month. I've never gotten any acrylic nails that ever chipped. He then says we'll fix it for $25. I stopped him and asked why am I paying for something to fixed that I didn't cause? The lady steps back and says it's their responsibility to fix it within 3 days. I re explained that my acrylic nails should not be chipping period i just got up had left the owner was walking behind me and said she'd pay the $25. It's not about the money it's principal, they clearly weren't applied correctly. Definitely won't be back ever! read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Li told my mom and I it would be 5 minutes before a pedicure. She put my feet in water and didn't get to me until 45 mins later. Other nail techs also took other people before me. Li offered 10% off, but the whole process took 2 hours. I would not recommend this location. Especially, not for black and brown people. read more

My gel polish was chipped badly on several different nails after 5 days, I've never had this problem so I called and asked if they could fix them they said yes so I came & ended up wanting a color change as well since half my polish is already chipped off. The manager told me that I would have to pay full price, after they messed up. She doesn't know how to handle a situation very rude. I told them thank you anyways but I'll be taking my business elsewhere and a man followed me outside trying to tell me she wasn't being rude and they were trying to blame me for my polish chipping lmaoo. Will never come here again. Only came because they were the only place near me open late. They rush everything. I've never had a gel manicure chip like this. Supposed to last for 2-3 weeks correct? But had a bad experience last time from a nail tech that no longer works there, they didn't look great and were breaking off after a few days. I guess the most important thing is the price will change on you. I've been there several times and every time I pay a different amount. Last time I even called ahead and asked for a price on a full set of ombre nails. On the phone it was $50. When I got there it was $65. As for the pedicure, the chairs...2 different ones didn't work right. It would work for a few minutes then stop then a few more Minutes then stop. So I switched chairs...that one only had one mode....a small 2 in portion on my middle back area. After that the lady was so rough she drew a little blood...at that point it doesn't even matter anymore. I just ask for consistency. There are so many nail places to try. On to the next! read more

I had a good experience at La Vie my first time when they had only been in Harbison for a few weeks. After my first visit there they progressively got worse. I was told that the gel polish that I had chosen would match exactly the regular polish that I had chosen for my toes. As they were painting I stated that my nails were mint and my toes were blue. They said several times that once in the sun the colors would match. I left very dissatisfied and went back the next day for them to polish my toes with the exact same gel color as my fingernails in order for them to match. They corrected it but charging me for my toes again. After a few months I return to give them another try, as everyone messes up every now and then. This time I got only the SNS polish and I'm irate hence why I'm posting my first complaint on Yelp, ever. I have a nail chipped before I even get home. I call to have it fixed on my lunch break and am told they have appointments scheduled. I go after I get off only to wait 20 minutes or more before they even call me back to fix one nail! I get home to realize, the "fixed nail" is a different color than the rest of my nails (maybe it will end up matching the others with time?) and 3 other chipped nails... it's been 2 DAYS of having them painted! 2 days, $35 and 4 chipped nails! read more

I hate to see the negative reviews that would deter people! I took a shot anyway today and had a great experience. I walked in on a Sunday and was immediately seated for my pedicure. I got a great gel manicure and pedicure that I was very pleased with. The pedicure chairs have the good massage that is infinitely adjustable and they're in great condition. All tools are brought out from sterile packaging and plastic liners are used in the pedicure basins. There are also probably 150 gel colors to choose from. Very pleased with La Vie and I will be back! read more

My nail bed was filed down to the point where it hurt. As I went to wash my hands I noticed that the cuticle on some of my nails had begun to bleed. I brought it to the attention of the technician and told him I didn't feel comfortable paying the full amount. The manager then came over and said I can get $5 off or get the nails cut off. He was extremely dismissive and showed no concern for my grievance. Also the shape wasn't great. It's clear that the customer's satisfaction and well being isn't a priority. After not even a full week of having my SNS done my polish began to pull. When I called and told them they said they would fix them. I just left they charged my card $30 dollars and the owner was rude. She said her girls didn't do bad work. Well Te nails are redone and not even done right!!!
