Unfortunately, my experience with the event coordination was very disappointing. While the venue was perfect, I never felt like my wedding day was being treated as a priority in the slightest. I am very easy going but to be told tours will stop at a certain time and then to continue until 5pm was heartbreaking. Throughout my wedding day, tours of the property continued, and members of the general public were allowed in areas that should have been reserved for the wedding. A dog from the public side of the gardens even stopped and pooped near the ceremony space leaving us to clean it up. I also have photos from my first look with my dad that include random visitors in the background, which was heartbreaking for such a special moment, or a couple standing down the isle while our violinist practiced and the couple practiced a first dance less than 30 minutes before welcomed guest. It felt as though accommodating tours and other events was more important than protecting the wedding experience for the bride, groom, and guests. Several of my vendors also shared negative interactions with Nancy when they arrived slightly early. While waiting for their scheduled entry time, they were reportedly told that because they were early, "her ass is now on the line," which created an unwelcoming atmosphere from the start. Clark Gardens is one of the most beautiful wedding venues imaginable, but I wish someone had prepared me for how little attention would be given to making us feel special on our wedding day. If you choose this venue, I recommend asking detailed questions about public access, tours, and how wedding events are separated from regular visitors so you know exactly what to expect. I'm sure the response to this review will be to point out that the contract states tours may continue during wedding days, and that is true. However, bride to bride, I want future couples to be prepared for what that can actually look like in practice. Reading a contract clause and experiencing members of the public in the background of your wedding photos, during your first look, and around your ceremony space are two very different things. My goal in sharing this is not to dispute the contract, but to help future brides ask questions, set expectations, and make an informed decision about whether that arrangement fits the wedding experience they envision.

The staff were kind enough to waive the entrance fee for Chandor Gardens. The gardens are peaceful, vibrant with plenty of places to sit and a decent walk. There is a nearby nature trail as well. Chandor Gardens are 3.5 acres filled with ancient Chinese architecture and resemblances of an English garden. Douglas Chandor, a native Englishman had a deep appreciation for Chinese architecture and for his home country England which is shown through Chandor Gardens.

You can contact them for more information. Some of the unique and one of a kind vehicles you will discover - 1985, ZIL, Russian President Gorbachev had in his administration fleet. Another impressive Barn-Find is 1941 Packard, custom built that was featured in "The Godfather." Only 99 known built, but only 30 survived over the years. Lyndon B. Johnson's, Lincoln is another find you want to see when visiting this museum. Classic red firetruck and other classics can be discovered here. The staff person was nice and was excited to share information about this place. Depending on how crowded it get here, you can have a guided tour or self-guided tours.

For 5 of the last 6 holes we had to put through the sprinklers, race to move our carts out of the sprinklers and worry that the water just sprayed in my face wasn't going to make me sick. The course was backed up, so we couldn't just wait it out but instead had to play through the water. I know that you have to water the greens in the afternoon when it starts getting hot, but you do that with a hose, not the sprinklers. When I mentioned it in the pro shop after our round they were very understanding and said they would give us a rain check, which I believed to be appropriate, problem solved. Except it was a rain check, it was a prorated portion of our greens fee for the 5 holes we played under sprinklers. Probably won't be back.

She told me ever time everything looked good and I would get my full deposit back all $600+. 2 weeks later the owner only send half off the deposit. I called her and she told me that inspection is only through her and inspiration of cleaning is not conducted the same night! so I proceeded to ask her 1) so how are we supposed to get our full deposit back if your not present to inspect and you don't tell use what we missed 2) we don't know what day you conduce your inspection? The owner never answer the two questions They will find whatever they can to not give you the full dep. Back so just a little heads up . ! GO ELSEWHERE YOU also need to get your own insurance for this venue something that was not told until after contract!!! We have had over 30 Def. Events at other venue and never had a problem getting our full deposit back after impacted the same night.
