The staff were kind enough to waive the entrance fee for Chandor Gardens. The gardens are peaceful, vibrant with plenty of places to sit and a decent walk. There is a nearby nature trail as well. Chandor Gardens are 3.5 acres filled with ancient Chinese architecture and resemblances of an English garden. Douglas Chandor, a native Englishman had a deep appreciation for Chinese architecture and for his home country England which is shown through Chandor Gardens.

It fit well with the needs of our retreat. The owner Lady B and site manager Landon worked very closely with us throughout the entire booking process, including working with our budget. We paid a small deposit to book the facility and the remaining balance upon arrival. Although there were a few hiccups, the site staff was very accommodating and flexible with our needs. It is noteworthy that if you are allergic to cats or dust (including sawdust), you may want to take extra precautionary measures; there are several friendly cats at the facility and the buildings have a rustic look and are made with wood. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Contacted them 2 weeks later and they said we won't get a refund since we were within the 4 months, which ok that's cool policy is policy I suppose, but no one in this country planned for this. Responding to us right away would've been pretty neat and these people will never see a dime of my money, especially once this is all over with. I'll for sure spend more money to with someone more professional and wouldn't recommend these people to anyone with my experience.

We had been looking forward to using the hot tub and swimming pool. When we went to use them, we found the hot tub had been filled in with concrete and a table had been placed over it. We had to ask for extra coffee packets for our coffee maker in out room. The King sized bed was uncomfortable and had a valley in the center of it. Considering the price we prepaid for the room and then to have an additional $40.00 charged for Incidentals, I was not impressed with Fairfield Inn. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Got to my room to unwind and catch up on work emails. The bathroom had hair on the shelf up by the mirror, on the counter, and all over the floor. I cleaned it off to try to make the best of it and took a shower. Prior to stepping into the shower I noticed more hair and debris on the bathroom floor. Tried to shrug it off and let it slide. Final straw was the stained sheet when I went to sit on the bed and watch tv. It had what appeared to be a slight blood stain, another stain, and what appeared to be a small scab from the person prior to me. I requested a different room, which was accommodated, but this hotel is still far less than what I expect when I travel with Marriott. Also tried to stream on the TV and it did not work, in either room I was in. Whether it was Netflix or Amazon Prime. 1 out of 5 overall but the front desk agent was extremely helpful and accommodating so 2 out of 5. Will not stay here again.

They may allow pets but charging $40 per night plus $150 is NOT PET FRIENDLY. It is more like pets tolerated, and it adds up fast when you are in an extended stay hotel and planning to stay for several days.
