Beau Roper arrived at our property on time, introduced himself politely, and gave us a quick overview of what to expect -- how long things would take and when we'd get the report back. We walked the property together so I could point out any issues and he could ask questions. He then got to work, explaining that the inspection would take about an hour to an hour and a half since he needed to be thorough and photograph everything on the property. We ran some errands and came back just as he was finishing up. He walked us through everything he'd done and made sure my wife felt comfortable with the findings before leaving the property clean and orderly. Moving forward, Groundworks kept us updated on the status of the report and what to expect next. Everything arrived exactly on time. I can't thank them enough -- this was an exceptional experience compared to other contractors I've dealt with. Groundworks provided a very thorough report, complete with the licensed engineer's information, which made a real difference. Quick note for anyone in Texas: there's no state license or requirement to be a foundation contractor here -- all you need is a shovel. It's a pretty wide-open, unregulated space. That's what made Groundworks' transparency stand out even more. As it turned out, our house didn't need any foundation work, so we don't know firsthand how they'd handle an actual repair. But if we ever do need one, it'll be with Groundworks -- because of how Beau Roper handled everything, start to finish.

The inspector, JT, was friendly and clear spoken and took his time going through everything. He used some kind of high-tech equipment to measure our floors and figure out how much our slab was off, then walked us through all his findings in plain English. Turns out we didn't need any major foundation work right now (which was a huge relief!), but JT still gave us some great tips on how to prevent future issues. I really appreciated how honest he was -- no pressure, no upselling, just straightforward advice. It's nice to know there are still honest foundation companies out there that care more about helping people than just making a quick buck. Gave a hour and a 10 min notification of arrival. He walked the exterior and interior of the house. He pointed out possible concerns. Eventually brought in a machine and took multiple measurement throughout the house. He explained what was considered acceptable. He gave me recommendations on how to help my foundation, and what to look out for. He was very relaxed and informative. He wasn't pushy or trying to push me into getting foundation work done. Olshan did a great job on my foundation work in a timely manor…read more Work was excellent workers were professional. The only concern I have is that they dug up my bush and put it back and now it is dead. They also used my electricity for their equipment which left me with an outrages electric bill. I ask would they be giving me a credit for my bill and was told no. Foundation work is not cheap and for them to use my electricity to operate their jackhammers and microwaves for eating their lunch on me that I am paying for is ridiculous. Not to mention they kill two of my plants with no replacement. So this is why I am giving them 2 stars. If you use them be sure that they bring a generator to operate their equipment and if they have to dig up your plants make sure they replace them with new ones. Because the one that dig up will not and replace will not live.

Sergio was very busy but was able to come out on a Sunday to look at the project and then sent a bid through email. I found his price to be very competitive and he understood the work we needed done. He and his crew came out and did the project in 1 day. It was a small project so it was done in 1 day, we paid at the end of the day after the project was done. They hauled and disposed of the old concrete matter. The crew was well mannered. They cleaned up the area well when they finished the project. We were happy with the work and we do recommend him.

Sergio came our, quoted the job and told us about his business and after comparing the quotes we realized that Sergios was very competitive. So we hired him and his team. They came out and in one day did all the concrete work that we needed by concreting, where two stalls were in our barn, concreted, the lean too attached to our barn for us to store our tractor and also put in a concrete pad for a propane tank. Sergio was very communicative. He understood what we wanted.His crew was respectful of our property and cleaned up after themselves. After they completed the job, Sergio hauled away the old concrete that they had to tear out. I will definitely refer him to anybody that I know.And we will use him again in the future.
