The inspector, JT, was friendly and clear spoken and took his time going through everything. He used some kind of high-tech equipment to measure our floors and figure out how much our slab was off, then walked us through all his findings in plain English. Turns out we didn't need any major foundation work right now (which was a huge relief!), but JT still gave us some great tips on how to prevent future issues. I really appreciated how honest he was -- no pressure, no upselling, just straightforward advice. It's nice to know there are still honest foundation companies out there that care more about helping people than just making a quick buck. TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY…read more Wife of the previous 1-star review describing the concrete seal / anti-scratch nightmare. SOOO happy Cristian responded to our review in the manner that he did -- perfectly shows who he and his company is, what they stand for, and what awaits you as a homeowner. 1) Admits that one of HIS EMPLOYEES DID make those promises to us. This is the only reason we decided to move forward with the job -- "nothing will scratch this product". Particularly our dogs and entry foot traffic. If we would've been told that there was ANY risk of scratches, we would've never moved forward and co toned looking for other treatments. We were deceived. 2) "Employee is no longer with us" Just because you fired someone one later, doesn't mean that the promises (lies), and work (mess) they did while representing your company magically go away. It was your employee, working under your name, take accountability, that's business. 3) "Sorry we couldn't keep your dog from scratching your floor" Again, dodging accountability and flipping the blame back to the homeowner. Outrageous statement to make after having admitted that his employee did make promises of "nothing will scratch this product", and us having specifically asked about - dogs, shoes, rocks, and dragging furniture. But what he will tell you now is, "you should've known". As if the homeowner is expected to be the expert. Extremely childish. 4) Despite whatever he may say now, IN WRITING, he agreed to pay back 50% of the job ($2500) over 10 months. And after 5 months, only $200 has been paid. He will dodge every call, every text, and when you do finally reach him, he will LIE and say "oh yes, I'll send it right now" , and then have you start the monthly chase cycle again. He made this agreement himself. Not a former employee. So what's the excuse now? Yet another example of Cristian and his company failing in their promises and commitments.

I almost never leave reviews. But, I felt compelled to leave this one because it was literally life changing. I started seeing my floors buckle and small cracks on the drywall. I thought it was something small. I contacted several foundation companies. The companies who came to give estimates would just walk around the house and then give a bid. They wouldn't go into the crawl space and actually inspect it. They would just give me a random price for what seemed to be random solutions. I found StarTech Foundation by chance and Henry came to do an inspection. He told me the true and complete condition of the house. He showed me pictures. He showed me videos. They were hard facts to digest. A good portion of the house had rotten joist and rotten beams. He took the time to explain the process of how the foundation could and would be fixed. He explained to me that it would not be a quick job. This was quite different from all the other companies who said anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks (one foundation company that told me that it would only take 3 days). I took a leap of faith and decided to go with StarTech Foundation because Henry and Flor were the most transparent and honest. I asked many questions along the way and did a lot of research which brought even more and more questions. Every time, Henry and Flor listened to my suggestions and explained why something would or would not work. They worked with me every step of the way until I was comfortable with every detail. And yes, I was that client that wanted to know every detail. Sometimes you come across situations that you wish a super hero would come and solve all your problems. I truly feel that Henry and Flor were my super heroes because they were able to replace almost the entire foundation of my house (which I thought was not fixable). I feel very blessed that God put them in my path. Honesty is very hard to find in most people these days. But you will find it in Henry and in Flor. I now have a house that has new beams, new joists and many supporting bases. The house is now solid thanks to StarTech Foundation's commitment and dedication to doing the job, doing it right and at a fair price. If you want super heroes in your corner when you have foundation problems, give StarTech Foundation a call. You will not be disappointed. read more

They take pride in their work. They installed piers in both of our homes, laid down a cement patio for my gazebo. Price was very reasonable. Work was done in a reasonable time.
