The Star Theatre is the only place anywhere that you can see a first run current movie in a great little vintage setting for less than $5 a ticket no matter when.

We have been here probably 30 times over the years. And we live over an hour from there. I recently bought tickets with a gift card and had to change the day that we could go. You cant get a refund on the app with a GC. I called and got a HUMAN on the phone (how many businesses do that now a days). They switched our tickets to another day in a matter of minutes. One complaint I do have, please allow people to store their GCs on their app, it is very cumbersome to find the email or the print out and put in the....I think 13 or 16 numbers every time. Thanks Alamo for being so awesome!! We are heading out today for another show. Get the popcorn ready!!!

Sign onto their wifi enter Cc pay ment info and maneuver the menu on a small screen in a darkened theater. As grandparents we took grandaughter and a friend to the film. online tickets with convenience fee and food and drinks bumped up against $150. i am not interested in paying restaurant prices for food and sodas that were not particularly tasty. and who is the convenience fee supposed to benefit? certainly not the consumer. No Thanks do not like the new Alamo experience. AMC here we come Oh and they tack on an 18% tip on your tab and you have to check your phone to find this out. Bye! .

The theater wasn't overcrowded, the staff was friendly, and everything was clean and welcoming. I ordered the "Shame on Brie" sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious--honestly much better than I expected from a movie theater. My son had the BBQ chicken flatbread and he really enjoyed it too. The food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely a step above typical theater fare. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Between the affordable Wednesday specials, great food, and relaxed atmosphere, I would definitely recommend Warehouse Cinemas in Frederick and will absolutely be back!

Huge upgrade from your typical theater experience. They also go beyond just movies. There's a full bar, real food (not just popcorn), and everything I've tried has been good -- most recently the BBQ chicken pizza. They also do themed drinks for new releases, which is such a fun touch. I love that they offer $7 Tuesdays (which do sell out fast) and regularly host events. I recently went to their Trailer Fest, and it was a great experience -- tons of previews, food samples, giveaways, and just an overall fun vibe. They also show throwback movies and have a rewards program, so there's always something going on beyond just current releases. Every time I bring someone here, they end up loving it too. It's clean, well-run, and just a really enjoyable movie experience all around.

When I got there, I asked why it wasn't on the website and the workers reply was, "we post about it on social media". I decided not to argue about how silly that was because we didn't want to damper our evening but we left feeling like we got scammed and that this lack of advertisement was intentional. The gate employee was not very friendly when he was confronted with this. There was a kind employee that helped us when we got to our parking spot which made the evening better.

If you're thinking of spending a nostalgic night under the stars at this so-called "per vehicle/per…read moreperson" drive-in theater, think again -- unless you enjoy being nickel-and-dimed with a side of fake hospitality. Let me paint the picture: you pull up expecting a flat-rate charge per vehicle or per person, just like any decent drive-in promises. Instead, you're hit with individual charges for yourself, and -- wait for it -- your dog. Yes, my dog. A silent, sleeping-in-the-backseat kind of dog is considered a person at a drive-in movie theater. What's next? A fee for your air freshener? The cherry on top? The woman in the box office greets you with the kind of smile that seems warm until you realize it's the same smile a fox gives a hen. Don't be fooled. Pro tip: Get a receipt. Every time. If you don't, good luck disputing anything later. This place relies on the fact that most people won't argue at the gate. They bank on you wanting to get in, park, and settle in for the movie. But if you look at your charges, you might realize you paid more than double what you expected. In short: I found this place misleads you at the gate, overcharges you at will, and hides behind a "family-friendly" facade. Don't fall for it. Spend your money elsewhere -- preferably somewhere that doesn't consider a leashed, well-behaved dog an extra ticketed guest.
